Staheli Family Farm and the Temple

We went to St. George, Utah to visit Aunt Brooke
and Uncle Chris. Here we are at Staheli Family Farm.

Mia loving the hay

Aunt Brooke and Mia

They had cute little pig races

and this huge jumping trampoline, but Mia didn't dare get on it.

lots of fun animals to see, but cows are her favorite.

teeter totters

tractor rides out to the pumpkin patch

Aunt Brooke finding her pumpkins!

Mia found one for herself

In front of the Witch's house

we found a good size one to carve!

Brooke and me

Awww

About the size of the one we used to drive at my grandpas
where we learned to drive stick :)

they even had a fun little treehouse with a kitchen in it

It was fun to get away and stay at Aunt Brooke's cute house!
Mia LOVED having her own room and at one point while
playing with Brooke, I told her to stop being bossy and she said,
"Brooke, please explain to my parents that I'm not being bossy!"
Soooo funny

Then we stopped at the St. George Temple and Mia really
wanted to get out and walk around. She was super cute and asking
if we got married there, it was really sweet.

She seriously would have stayed there all day, she DID NOT
want to leave! We were also able to have breakfast with one of my best friends from college,
it was so great to see him. Fun weekend :)

My little Teradon had her Halloween parade and
carnival at preschool today. Here is her teacher Ms. Debbie
who she absolutely loves and adores!

Here is her other teacher Ms. Lauren who she tells
me stories about daily (apparently her and Ms. Debbie have
arguments and Mia miss hears all sees all listens to the whole thing)
It is hilarious what she tells me! I guess the other day it was Ms. Lauren's turn to
read and she just didn't feel like it but Ms. Debbie said she had to so Ms. Lauren said "Whatever!"
Haha

Miss Abby and Mia

Abby, Mia , and Beau

After her preschool parade, she had dance class where she was
supposed to dress up too- one of these does not look like the other.
Remember that song from Sesame Street. Haha!!

Now onto the next event, more
posts to come!

Spooktacular and New yard

My school Spooktacular was Friday night, so Mia got
to dress up in her costume early. She is a Teradactyl from
the Teradon family and she will tell you so. She is still completely
fascinated with dinosaurs and she was a hit. People can't quite seem to get
over the fact that a little girl is obsessed with dinosaurs but it's true. I had to
get over my own sadness not being able to dress her in something girly, but I'm a believer in
letting kids be who they want in life and on Halloween, so here she is :)

PTA really did an amazing job, there were over 20 carnival games,
a live DJ and more. It was definitely a fun time, now we need to catch our
breath because we have Trunk or Treat at the church Wednesday night,
her school parade/party Thursday as well as her dance class party Thursday,
then off to Aunt Brooke's to St. George to go to some amazing pumpkin farm festival,
then back home for Halloween on Monday, oh boy!!! Did I mention kids go to school on
Halloween this year, and with my fun class of 3rd graders this year, I might loose it.

Sunday morning we decorated our pumpkins with these cool
potato head things we got at Party City. It came with a million pieces and
it was so easy and fun. Definitely worth the 8 bucks!

and there they are...

We got this cute pumpkin plant that Mia loves.

Now onto what we've been doing the last 2 weeks!! This
is the only pic I could find of a before, except it doesn't have our
courtyard, so imagine that is there..... and

now look!!!

isn't it beautiful??

Mia standing on her very own grass!! She is beyond excited!!

part of the courtyard, Strawberry tree, I can't show the other
side because it's not done, I will post more

look at this cool rock wall! Our landscaper is AMAZING!

And now to the backyard, look at all the grass!!

trees and roses

The whole is the soon to be sandbox, more pics to come

just a cute pic, I will post more pics when the front side yard is
done too, we are so excited to have a yard, we've been saving for 2 years,
so we are happy! We are just putting chat on the rest of the backyard, since we will want a pool sometime
in the future (way future probably) and there was no sense in spending money on that part when we have to dig it up anyway :)

fun little pumpkin patch down the street

being a ham

this cat is so funny, he LOVES napping with her ( yes she is
in her bed under her bear) sometimes he gets so mad when
we wake him up, he's such a good little friend, it sounds strange
but they even play hide and seek together, he LOVES playing with her
they even fight like siblings :)

these two are also very funny. Every night, Rick lets Bentley in
through the back door and Spock gets on his hind legs and swats his
butt all the way to the laundry room. It is soooo funny. He is definitely the
boss around here. I feel like I'm running a zoo sometimes . I will post a video of it.
