Born Feb 9th 7 lbs 19 inches long. This makes the 4th grandkid,
another one gets here in April. Exciting!
week of Stomach Flu with constant diarrea and
puking and me running over Spock in the garage
on the way to work ( yes he's alive and okay)
I'm glad to see this smile again, she's happy,
a little bit of an attitude from being spoiled while
sick , but she is so much better. We took her to the Shark
Reef at the Mandalay Bay. She had a blast!

cutest grin, in fact she said, "I'm so funny" the other
day, she puts her cooking hat on and says,
"I'm ready to cook" The only bad to that is that
it is usually at 8:30pm when I'm trying to get her to
go to bed. She tells me 5 more minutes mom when
I want her to clean up and then 2 more minutes mom,
but she just keeps doing it over and over again. She always
has that bear who rarely sees the washing machine because
she won't let him go for more than 5 minutes. She's still
dancing like crazy, follows me everywhere saying, "What
are you doing now mom?" I can't even pee in peace, but
she's my little sidekick and gives me kisses and hugs all day long.
Scott and Hailey make the same face!! She is constantly
trying to cook with me which is fun and she got
this new kitchen well, it was at a garage sale
from Grandma and Grandpa M and
she won't let me put it in the backyard where it's
supposed to go. She just keeps saying, this is my new
kitchen mom!
and tall.
most of you know, because you keep adding to
her collection. She has everything you can think
of Gabba. She role plays with them constantly
and she sings/dances to their songs all day long,
so I decided her 2nd birthday will be Yo Gabba
Land! Filled with a Brobee cake and lots of fun.
I'm so excited. She will LOVE it.
them everywhere. She doesn't have a favorite,
and she sings : Don't Bite Your Friend to Spock
our cat, Please and Thank you song, Wiggle Wiggle
Stop, If I try it I'll like it (everytime she eats
something new) It is fun to watch her get so
excited. ( I was the Flinstone and Smurf era)
for his pleasure. This is a mini tent that Mia puts
her animals in and he thinks it is where he lives.
Doesn't look like a mama pig to me?

This was the look on her face the whole time.
I wondered if she was too young, but she was
perfect. I brought her booster seat which was a
good idea because she could see much better.
her bear? We can't go ANYWHERE without him.
I've looked online EVERYWHERE for a replacement
in case he in lost or falls apart (knock on wood)
I bought 2 online, spent lots of money and neither
were the same size. I kept one who is much larger
because I had no choice and then I get a call from
the manufacturer that they just don't make him anymore.
fries and chicken fingers, Sprite, and snowcone.
Afer each performance, she would yell, YAY
and clap.
Note Rick's face: too funny
At the end they did Tinkerbell and Mia HATES
fairies, I don't know why but she hates cartoons
with fairies too. So she kept saying okay mom,
bye I'm going home , bye. It was funny.
Sidenote: Rick's ex girlfriend happened to run
into us as we were finding our seat and of course
she was 2 rows behind us the whole time. Annoying!

She caught a major caugh and we tried to avoid it
but obviously it didn't work. 5 days of a fever, caugh,
and finally got to the doctor and she has now developed
a double ear infection from the caugh, so antibiotics later.
Anyway, who says a cat isn't a man's best friend. This is
what he does when Mia is sick.

Aunt Bre took it on her new camera that
we are all jealous of. It's my new favorite pic
of her.
Can you tell?
I stole this pic from my sister's
blog- again taken on Bre's camera
I love Mia's look on her face!
Here's my hubby going head first from
the top- it's amazing how the older you get,
you get afraid of things- I used to jump off
40 ft waterfalls in college and I am scared
when I sled down a hill now, or ride a plane,
or even stand on my ladder trying to take
down tree decorations. What is my problem?
Mia with dad and her cozy outfit that Dustin
got her- look close, she doesn't have fingers because
she refused to wear her gloves so they got flipped up in the sweater
and she kept saying, "oh no mom,
where did my hands go?" Perfect gift Dustin :)

I forgot to tell the story of Christmas Eve, Rick went outside Mia's
window and jingled Santa bells like his dad did when he was little. Mia
literally jumped up on all fours and looked out the window and whispered
in this tiny little voice, "Santa?" I said, what was that Mia, "She whispered,
"Santa's Reindeer mom." I couldn't believe it. It brought tears to my eyes, I know that
is silly, but I love the whole idea of Santa and the hopes and dreams along with it.
We have been reading, watching, and playing with Santa stuff all month, but she actually got it, and we wished that we would have gotten it on video. Of course, Rick wasn't too happy when
she was awake ALL NIGHT long giggling, yelling for Santa, and singing every song she knows.
But it was worth it!!!

meltdown. This is the final result. She was exhausted
and put her bear on her head to go to sleep right
on the living room floor. She also told me, Mom ,
I need a nap!! - never heard those words before.
