Fourth of July Parade! SERIOUSLY beyond
hot, dad was working again so grandma came to the Summerlin
Parade and it was so crazy good. The floats were amazing!
this kid does not do well in the heat! They were trying to
smile their way through the morning!
so we went to grandma an grandpa's and swam and did fireworks
then we drove over to Centennial High School to watch the big ones
where is Spock I only see his arm!

Lake time!! Mia rocked the skis again, Kellan was a little nervous
so he didn't do it this time..

so I didn't really think things through and planned a random last
minute trip to Monterey CA with the kids! I invited Brooke and her girls
and she said yes!! It was wild, crazy, lots of tears, laughs, fart talking, but

Kellan asked if this was the type of city where
dogs were more important than kids, I said yep
walking around is tiring
well our first " oceanfront hotel" was a Bates motel from
hell so we got over to the Marriott and they even brought the kids buckets
for the beach and Brooke and I chocolate and wine so funny.
The other hotel was seriously the worst hotel I have ever seen in my life for a premium price too!
unbelievable scam but we made it without any scars or bites haha

kids had a blast playing in the sand while Brooke and I froze :)
it was definitely an adventure!! But sometimes you have to get
out of your comfort zone and try new things :)
