St. Baldricks and Cousins

 Rick has always been very touched with childhood illnesses

and gets very emotional about kids who have to go through that pain

so he decided to participate in St. Baldricks this year and he was able to

get $1200 in donations thanks to family and friends and had to get his head

shaved like the kids do too. Mia was pretty upset about his hair ( yes she's my twin)

but we got over it because it was a good cause :)

 we had to do the St. Patrick's day parade because it's awesome

 Rick put Kellan in an indoor soccer club( he's the one in the pony)

He's having a blast and his teacher can't believe he's never played 

before. He's dribbling and everywhere. 

 Marlee and Laya came down with my mom after the baby was 

born and Marlee was super excited to give Mia her present for her bday 

it was really cute.

Kellan was concerned that Marlee wasn't happy and kept asking her if she's happy and

said I just want you to be happy. He's going to grow up and be a motivational speaker. haha

Monster Jam

 We started off Spring Break with the World Monster Jam finals

Kellan was seriously overwhelmed. He just couldn't believe he 

was actually there in person and the trucks were in front of him.

This kid would watch monster trucks all day on tv if we let him. He's so hysterical

about all their moves and says all the technical trick words. It's so cute.

 He even got his tshirt signed by some drivers

 we even took a ride on an actual monter truck

 when we pulled up he said, " Is this the real Monster Jam stadium?"

Mia kept saying she loves NASCAR and not Monster Jam but let me tell you

she was jumping in the air screaming at them the whole time and couldn't believe

how awesome it was. Kellan didn't have a voice for 3 days from yelling.

 Kellan got to go with Rick on Friday to Nascar 

and absolutely loved it.

Mia had a really awesome story with Jimmie Johnson

she was waiting outside his trailer and one of his crew chiefs

came out and said to come with him but told Rick he had to stay

She got to go inside his trailer where Jimmie Johnson was putting his socks

and shoes on. She got to talk to him about his race, see his trailer, and then he said

I think you need a new hat, and he went to grab one in his cupboard and then decided to take it

off  his head and give her that one instead and signed her other one. Rick said she came out 

beaming. She told me it was the best day of her life!

This is the hat that he gave her and she even slept with it all night. So cute!
