Mia's Friend Party

 Mia really wanted to have a small friend party so Friday night after

school we went to the Cinderella movie, got In N Out and came home 

and they painted My Little Ponys. They had a blast.It was hilarious

watching the Cinderella movie with first graders. They kept saying, " This is 

soooo romantic," and " I know who you are thinking about.. to eachother." They were

too cute! 

and they got TONS of candy, huge Slurpies and popcorn but they

are all so good and said "We are done, we've had enough sugar after just a few bites." 

 while Mia was with her friends, Rick took Kellan out to dinner with

my sis Brooke, Chris and the girls and then to Downtown Summerlin for 

icecream. Kellan was trying to kiss Marlee. Sooo cute!

These are the cupcakes the girls got, but not mine, this is what they were "suppose" to

look like. haha

St. Patrick's Day Parade

 We went to the fun and longest parade in Henderson for

St. Paddy's day. It lasts over 2.5 hours. We were all hot and ready to

go but Kellan wanted to stay and watch the whole thing and kept

saying I want to watch trucks...so we stayed.

NASCAR

 Kellan got to go with dad first on Friday and it was his

first time. Rick said he absolutely loved it... until he tried to go to

the cars while racing by and had to be carried out like a football out to the truck.

Rick said he was screaming and crying :( He is only 2 so he did a good job for his first time,

I think 3 hours was probably his limit, because once he realized he could actually walk around, it

was over with. Then after his nap when I got home Friday, he told me all about seeing the cars and how he started crying ( he even did a fake cry to give me an example) and dad had to take him back to the truck. This kid is so funny!

 then it was Mia's turn on Saturday, they got VIP passes 

a suite access again so that's pretty awesome and of course she had

to stand by her crush Jimmy Johnson!

they both had a blast and I'm just glad they like it so I don't have to go :) 

Beautiful Weather

 We've been hanging out without dad for a week or so on and off

inbetween work and him having to go out of town for some medical issues, so

this is what we've been doing... goofing around

 Mia is realizing more and more just how fun Kellan can be

 I feel like boys need to come with a manual!

 while dad was out of town for some medical things, we headed to the dinosaur museum...

 Kellan loved the dinos just like Mia and it was a lot of fun hanging out on my day off

with the kids...

 dad came home and we went to Old Nevada since its 75 degrees here!

 and we rode the train... and saw the animals

 today was beautiful and Mia got to take Spock out to chill on a lease...

 she absolutely loves her cat! Mia finished her list 40 sight words

a month back and reads at a 3rd grade level. Now if we can get the math facts

up there too!! Her teacher said she got a B on a math test and told her that

she knew she could do better, so she forfeited her free time on Fun Friday to redo 

her test and get a 100 % . That's my girl!!!!

this cutie! He is now saying oh gosh darn it, and he's so hilarious..

He's full speed all the time and is constantly kissing, hugging, touching my hair,

and loving on his mom, which is soo adorable!!
