SLS opening and Last Days of Summer

 Rick and I got to dress up and go to the opening of SLS

because "Uncle" Greg invited us since he works there now. It was

so fun. We got to eat what we wanted and everything was free. We couldn't 

even get to all the restaurants. I was so sad about passing up burgers and fries but 

I could not eat another bite! Lets see I got tons of sushi, greek food, sweets, crab legs

steak, diet cokes and it was amazing!

 for those who don't think Kellan looks like Mia but with lighter hair haha

He is so funny, he's just like me and is always freezing after swimming and makes us

wrap him in a towel while he's screaming brrrr brrrr well the towel never fits and he always gets frustrated

 so we brought over Mia's Frozen swim cover up haha

 Mia has been training Spock all summer,

Rick just saw it the other day and couldn't believe how good

she is getting. She spends hours trying to get this thing to listen to her and she has

him now laying in here on demand and he's now able to stand up and get a treat if he stands up to her

chest. It's pretty cute and pretty impressive :) 

 We went to Green Valley Ranch last week and let me tell you 

these kids both enjoy resort life. This is the best pool with an awesome

beach. They love it and also love laying out and dancing to the music.

 Mia went to her first roller skating party and I had to get

some on because she needed help. They were pretty cute, even

though it took forever to get around...

My Little Pony world.. He wants in sooo bad :( She threw

him a wolf (next to him) but he was like really? So sad

 we took Kellan to the lake for the first time (more pics to come)

and he had a blast, even kept his life jacket on and all he wanted to do

was be in the water and do everything everyone else was doing!

Mia said it was the best day ever because she got to dig in the sand, play in the water, surf,

go on the tube, and eat snacks!

Utah and Idaho trips

 We headed up to Logan Utah on our way to two family reunions. We could

have just stayed here, the kids had a blast. I didn't even see Mia, she was gone playing the 

whole time and Kellan was obsessed with the swing, he literally stayed on there for hours and wouldn't get off. We went to this beautiful place by the river, fed the ducks and walked ...

red ant things that were all over the place and Mia was so afraid of them

As you can see in the pics, she kept looking down on the ground to see if one was getting close to her foot.

 Aunt Bre and the kids came on Thursday and grandpa B came too

so they all went hiking by the river. We went to Texas Roadhouse that night and Rick

and I even rode bikes with Kellan to get stuff to make smores by Nicole's grill. It was a great night.

 On to Rexburg.. This is the house I was born in St. Anthony, Idaho It use

to have a white picket fence and I had tons of animals and of course was just a few

short steps to my Grandma Lil's house.

 We went down to Uncle Rob's house to fish and Kellan just absolutely loved

the fish and kept trying to kiss them!

 we actually ended up taking Scott and Hailey up early to the reunion

so they could be with everyone and Scott even got some fish! I said what are sisters for

if we can't trade kids once in awhile!!!

place, I understand her, it use to be my favorite place on this planet. Kellan 

absolutely loved jumping in the puddles and being a boy. It was a great night!

 Off to the next reunion: Up at Heise Hot Springs.

We all got really bad food poisoning at the hotel (worst experience as a parent)

Rick got it in the morning so he couldn't get out of the car at the reunion and we only stayed a few

hours, such a bummer 10 hours drive from Vegas :( I did manage to get this one picture

of my grandma Rosie though and I'm so glad since she's got Alzteimers now and is not remembering anything.

 we got back home, Rick decided to play around with Mia and she did not appreciate it, went into the other

room and made this. I guess he won't be farting on her any time soon!

 Mia and I got to go to the lake and it was a blast.

I wakeboarded and even tried surfing. I got up after the 2nd time! woohoo!

 I got these cute pics this morning before church: Kellan is 19 months now and

seriously a handful and the cutest thing ever! I put him in his first time out and he actually stayed,

at one point he even crawled out of the corner to get his bears and crawled back. I even said you have to

say sorry and give kisses to Mia if you want out (he hit her) and he finally said Sorry Kellan. haha

 then I said, " It's naptime and he put his hands to my mouth and said "No mom, No very gently and 

shaking his head."

 19 months: so funny, full of love, always cuddly, repeats everything, still

loves his binky ( I know I know) says Binky are you??? Not in here!! 

LOVES cars, his sister, and is definitely a mama's boy...

Mia the other day told me that she is not sure that she wants kids of her

own because of the "pushing business down there" She said, " I panic when something hurts." Apparently she's been listening to my sisters and I too much . ooops ..
