Kellan 12 months old!

 my attempt at Kellan's 12 month pics. No more stickers, he just kept ripping it off.

His hair is for Aunt Bre who loves it down and parted to the side like preppy little thing.

This kid is definitely a character: we went to Target today and he just kept saying, "HI" and waving to

EVERYONE, I finally just said sorry it's a new word haha it really is pretty cute.

 he is into everything. This chair is in his room and he runs in and jumps on it,

then on the arm part and then dangles 2 feet in the air off of his crib. He is very proud of himself

when he does it too. 

 He's into the toilets, the electronics, the cabinets, the pantry anything else he can find and

loves to climb up on everything. I think he's had a bloody lip 3 times now...

and this kid loves trucks, it's his favorite word, he's saying truck, boat, thank you,

hi, kitty, up and anything else he can copy. He's super fun right now. We start whole milk 

next week! 

Kellan's First Birthday!

 how did a whole year pass? I can't believe this 5 week early surprise 

turned out to be completely healthy. One year ago, I remember eating fondue at 

my mom's on New Year's Eve and laying on my mom's couch in pain from what I thought 

was too much food and then realizing the next day that I was actually in labor. It was scary having

all those NICU nurses and people awaiting Kellan's arrive, but he came out completely healthy!

right when he came out :)

Happy Birthday Kellan

1 year old stats:

22.4 lbs

31.5 inches tall

according to the doctor, he will be between 6ft 4 and 6ft 6in tall!

We decided to have Kellan's birthday party on New Year's Eve since my sister Nicole, Kevin and

her kids were here and Kellan could have cousins to celebrate, so we did his party at Grandma and Grandpa

B's house before our annual New Year's Eve Fondue dinner. 

I went with this cute little bear cake and Nicole helped me with some few

tips. It was actually the easiest cake yet and turned out sooo cute!

I went with a circus theme and even had little 

bags of individual popcorns for the kids

Jay loved Kellan's new toy, Kellan not quite sure about it but 

it was so cute because Jay was very excited about all the new toys he got to play with.

Uncle Kevin: so Kellan was just obsessed with Kevin the whole time he was there. IT was crazy,

I mean climbing up him, cuddling, the whole thing, we said he had to have remembered him from heaven because it didn't matter if Rick and I were around either , he was all about him.

It was such a fun party! 

We ended up sticking the kids in the tub right after. It was so fun to celebrate with cousins

and grandparents. Happy Birthday Kellan!!
