Mia wanted to see Santa AGAIN, so we did and she loved
every second. She is really into Christmas this year. It is sooo much fun!

Then we went to my mom's and got to make peanut
brittle, fudge, and popcorn cake with my grandma Lil!

and Aunt Brooke

As you can see, Mia really got into it. She loves to cook!
That's what she says she will be when she grows up, a chef.
We will see :)

After telling Rick she had "stage fright" when she saw Santa
in the mall last week and wouldn't go up to him, we made it
to Bass Pro Shop on Saturday so Mia could tell Santa what she
wanted and boy did she. She took about 5 minutes explaining all the
different car guys from the Disney Car movie, Chick Hicks, Carla Velosa, you name
it, he thought it was funny. He was also a very sarcastic Santa to Mrs. Claus but we
won't go into that since I print this out for Mia to read in the future. Let's just say Bass
Pro got a little phone call when we got home. Love this place, because they have fun stuff for
the kids, Santa letter station, games, and it's all FREE!!

Thanksgiving

We flew up to Buhl, Idaho to spend Thanksgiving at
my parent's house. It was quiet: just my parents and my grandma
Lil, but it was a great weekend away

Last year, there was a HUGE snow storm, but this year the
weather was beautiful, Mia was sad there wasn't any snow though :(

Grandpa drove and brought his razor, so Mia was very
excited to ride on it. She wanted my dad to go REALLY fast.

Thanksgiving Day- we put my grandma Lil on a shuttle bus from
Rexburg, Idaho so she could spend the weekend with us, Aunt
Debbie came to dinner too. We had a bee fly in right when we
were about to eat, it was funny, I wish we could have gotten it
on camera.

Day after Thanksgiving we drove to Sun Valley, Idaho to get the snow Mia
wanted.

It was fun until the wind came and then it was FREEZING!

Mia enjoyed throwing snowballs

and building a snowman

my grandma Lil and I- then we went downtown to the shops
and had lunch

We were very lucky to spend the time with Grandma Lil or
as Mia would call her, Grandma L, Mia had her trapped in the playroom
for hours, she LOVED playing with her grandma. We love her so much!
Rick and I even did some midnight Black Friday shopping in Twin which was
hard work, because we had to drive 30 minutes just to get there, but we ended
up finding what we wanted and besides a very large woman running into Rick's knee and then
saying some some explicit language, it wasn't too bad!! It was a quiet Thanksgiving without
all my sisters and cousins, but it was a relaxing one! Can't wait for Christmas :)
