I had to post this, because it amazes me. Mia is
OBSESSED with dinosaurs, yes dinosaurs, I don't
even know the names of all of them but she does and
here she is telling them all. Paradon, terradactylis, spiniasauraus,
she knows them all and don't accidently mess up on pronouncing
them or she will not be happy! It's crazy, and she is collecting them,
I guess there are more??? How many species are there?? Help me!
Spring Break trip to Newport Beach. Here we are
in Laguna.

It was a little chilly but she didn't mind

Grandma and Grandpa B hanging out

I couldn't believe it when she asked me to get her swimsuit
on and then she actually got in the waves, it's been almost a year
and a half since she has gotten in the waves because Rick
accidently let her slip in it last time.

this pic makes me so sad, because she is so happy here
and then...

my mom turned around for one second and bam she
was pulled under, look at her feet, it was terrible,
she had sand caked in her hair, my mom felt horrible
and that was the end of Mia getting in the water probably
for the next 2 years. By the way, no that's not me taking
the photo, I was running to her during this picture. My
dad had my camera.

Cuteness at the beach at Crystal Cove right by the condo

Mom and Mia- this was the only sunny day, Saturday
if we had known that, we would have stayed all day long

digging away

mom and Mia

Aunt Bre and Wally brought Laith to Newport and
the cousins got to play in the sand

so fun!

She really is the perfect age for the beach, she had a blast,
it was so funny because she doesn't watch where she tosses
the sand, she just throws it up over her shoulder and it goes
everywhere. The first night, she got my dad really good, he even
had his mouth opened . It was hilarious!

Two very white people ha ha:)

dad and Mia

moving on, we went to Balboa Park and rode the ferry
across, well it was ALOT colder than we thought so
we had to put Mia in dad's big jacket, she didn't care
She was seriously the happiest kid on this trip. It was a blast!

Riding on the ferry

Brrr

the famous candy shop, look at that happy face

We tried to go on the beach after Balboa
but it was freezing

Mia decided to sing and dance anyway

Off to Crystal cove to look for crabs with grandma

Look Mom I found one!

my mom and dad- too cute

digging in the dirt with dad

Rick and I

happy girl

dad teasing, look how beautiful the sky is! This beach
is so beautiful, this is where Rick and I almost got married

off to Disneyland- wow was she the perfect kid ALL day,
we didn't hear a single whine or complaint and she even
napped for an hour. We got there at 9 and didn't leave til 6.

Mia was VERY excited to meet Mickey

happy little camper

Funny story- Mia LOVES Tangled so Rapunzel was there
but it was a 90 minute wait to meet her, well we went to
have lunch and I see where the kids are coming out after they
meet her, so we sat down at that table and it was awesome
because Mia got to peek in at her every time someone came
out, at one point when she went on a break, she came up
to Mia and tickled her chin and told her how beautiful she
was. That made her day!!

During her nap, I had Rick get in line to actually meet
her because I wanted a picture, and it worked out perfectly,
she woke up and we were right in the front.

Can you tell she is pretty happy?

meeting Pluto

On the Finding Nemo submarine ride, not my favorite
I am EXTREMELY claustraphobic and Mia didn't love
it either. You forget that in every Disney movie, there
is always a villian. It's so annoying!

Buzz lightyear ride

at the end of our day at Disney, we met up with my good
friend Kelly and got to meet her beautiful baby. So glad
we got to see them and have dinner!

Mia , Madison, and Payton

This is the end of our trip- she was amazing, the best trip so
far because she is just the perfect age and is a trooper, here she
is passed out in her bed at the hotel, by the end, she was ready to go
back to her house and told Rick and I , "I don't want you guys to
sleep behind me anymore! I want to be in my own room" We slept on the queen and
she was in a pullout bed, we thought that was funny that she didn't like us behind her,
She talks so much in her sleep, at one
point she yelled " I want my Sprite at 2 am and another time screamed, "That's
not a T-Rex, that's a spinasaurus!" Definitely got talking in her sleep from her dad.
Can't wait for this summer to do it all again!!!
