Mia at the park...
She just loves the swing...

She giggles the whole time..

Of course I had to go on the slide with her,
but dad made her try it all by herself and
she did it...

Mia LOVES the swings at the park.

Mia is 10 months old. Mia is definitely going to be a little
girl who likes to dress up. She also
loves to be topless- don't know about that,
but she loves to rub her belly without a shirt
on. I think she loves the feeling of being free,
who doesn't right?
Phones are her favorite thing in the
world. She just blabs on it all day long.
Still has the big blue eyes....
Okay so this is what happens when Mia is with my mom,
grandma is very creative. She made this little train for Mia
and even attached ribbon so my mom can pull her around the
house singing "Riding on the choo choo train." I got home from
work and there was my mom being a choo choo train . Mia
loves it...
The problem is now she gets in it
and grunts and growls until you pull
her around as if you are her limo driver...

Mia is getting so big:
She loves to walk everywhere, kiss everyone,
organize Rick's shoes in his closet, read books,
find the kitties at Grandma's, shake her bootie,
talk, talk, and talk...on anything that resembles
a phone, wave to the world, and smile constantly.
I LOVE this age!
I love having a girl...

We get most of our toys from second
hand stores and I found this little kitchen
It's a perfect size for her... a little bleach
and it's practically brand new!

the microwave clicks and the burner makes sounds.
plus it takes up no room which is what we need right
now. We are getting anxious about the house building..

Mia loves to pat on her legs and here she is doing just that plus walking...

Uncle Dustin got Mia a real neat doll stroller
for Christmas. She loves it.

We all went with Grandma and Grandpa Meyers
to Opportunity village after Christmas. It was fun!

Mia was content even if she looks a little sad
in this picture.

Mia with grandma and grandpa.

My sister told me that Mia is a major social
butterfly compared to other babies her age.
I didn't realize it until I started comparing and
here she is at Cheesecake Factory with us and Rick's
parents. She was waving , shaking her bootie, and talking
to everyone that passed her. We had the windows down
and people were walking passed us cracking up.

Mia's first Christmas and she definitely made out!
We actually took some gifts and put them away
for her bday. She won't even miss them!
She was so cute all morning while opening presents.

Even the cat got into it and wanted to sit in
all her opened boxes..

My sister Nicole made Mia and me some adorable
matching aprons...

My sister Bre was with us Christmas morning.
She even woke up early to watch the excitement of
Santa.

Christmas morning continues...

She had a lot of fun with her toys...
And cheesing at the camera...

Grandma and Grandpa Meyers came over
Christmas Eve and we opened up the presents
to Mia from them. She LOVES this chair!

She was also really into the boxes and wrapping paper!

We took Mia to sit on Santa's lap.
She was pretty cute!

We couldn't help getting a few more pictures of her.

Mia is 9 months old today.
I would post more pictures but whenever I get
the camera out right now, she closes her eyes
and does this cheesy face where she squints up
her nose. It's funny.

Yes Mia is walking and she is 9 months today.

She's been taking 5 or 6 steps for about a month, but

last week my mom and I looked up and there she

was just walking from the living room to the kitchen.

Girls are sooo smart, sorry boys :)

Mia with snow for the first time. It was a wild
day with lots of snow. The last time it was
like this was 3 years ago. Rick and I had talked on
the phone but we hadn't been on our blind date yet..
I love this one. It's hard for her to stand with shoes on.
She HATES shoes and it's my fault because I never
wear them either. I can't wait for her to get to kindergarten
and throw a fit about wanting to be barefoot! Oh I hope it
doesn't get that bad!!

My friend Ashleigh and her mom
made this beautiful tree just for Mia.
I love it and I think I will put it in her
bedroom( when she gets one) every year
at Christmas time. I don't know who
reads this but my friend Ashleigh is also
beautiful if anyone knows of anyone :)
Mia has a little chest infection so we
get to do this 3 times/ day which is
hard for an 8 month old to sit still.
So she has to be holding my cell phone
and she fell asleep on her dad- he's the
only one who can calm her down...

We got a real tree this year. Ours is in storage.
Hopefully next year we will be in our own house.
Mia LOVES the idea of having a crawling tunnel behind
the tree.
She also loves trying to open up presents already
and banging on them as hard as she can...

Rick really wanted to go into the woods 3 hours away
to cut our own tree down. Maybe when Mia is 4 and
wants to sit in a car that long.

So... We went to good old Home Depot.
I think he's a pretty cute tree picker though :)

We went to the church Christmas party
Friday night- Mia and grandpa...
Mia wouldn't smile for us...

How cute is this picture with her dad?

I loved putting her in a turtleneck, maybe that's
why she wasn't smiling, but I had her in a cute
black turtleneck and a Christmas skirt. It was a hit!

Final result: the steps to climbing
Hi dad, I can climb now.

Then she puts the whole leg up.

See how she puts one foot up.
