Christmas

we tried to do as many holiday things as we could find so we went to the
parade at Downtown Summerlin

then the light parade in Boulder City

this is where Spock lives for the entire month of December
the kids BEGGED me for Hot Chocolate one
day do you think they drank them? Nope just loved the idea of the cups at
Starbucks haha
 then we did Opportunity Village

then Rick went to Seattle with Greg for the
weekend and had amazing seats!!!

Kellan's little celebration in his classroom for the holidays

Rick and I got the opportunity to go to
his friend from High School who was is the head chef
of a fancy French restaurant named Bardot. It was amazing!!

then we went to Tivoli village to see Dasher and Dancer

and eat at the Cheesecake Factory after
yay cousins are here! Last year we were so sad because nobody was
here no grandparents or anyone so we loved having family here! We went
to a movie on Christmas Eve
xmas eve dinner at my mom's

so I'm really sad because our camera chip will not work from
Christmas morning so it is currently at Rick's FBI office
with one of his guys to get the pics off of it. So these are
just from my phone of Xmas morning..I hopefully will post more later
if we get the chip working.

 Santa brought a trampoline !

I had this made for Rick for his sword from the Marines

we couldn't stop laughing about this!!
back to our house with Grandma and Grandpa M

this was from Rick's parents, honestly my favorite gift! I am always
cold and this is just heaven to be in!
Unfortunately I put it on Instagram and Rick's friend
screenshot it and sent it to about 40 people from work so he's been dealing
with that still.... Dumb
Anway I think he looks cute and manly :)

Washington DC

Rick went to a conference in DC for a week and I got
to come and meet him for the weekend. We didn't sit down
because we wanted to see and do everything we could!
It was especially great because it was Veteran's weekend
which made it even better to visit all the monuments
especially the Marine ones :)

Rick took me to a place where George Washington ate
it was super romantic and definitely cool to be somewhere
that our President ate at. Of course it was freezing when I got
there, so that was hard to adjust to especially the wind chill.
Even Rick was cold!

we did get to Georgetown to have a cupcake!

 Future Senator right here!

the best part- riding bikes in the city! too much fun

the White house was much tinier than I thought

we stayed at the Mayflower hotel which many presidents have
stayed at and tons of scandals.

made you really think about what men and women have
been through, with Vietnam to the Korean and World War 2
as well as the Holocaust Museum .

and the leaves were beautiful! It was a fun weekend :)
