Mia's 9th bday

Mia started off her bday last Saturday by
going to lunch at Downtown Summerlin
with her BFF and they wanted their
own table. It was pretty cute. They ordered
themselves and everything.
Then they went to Build a Bear and had
a blast. They were so adorable and thanked me a
million times. It was really fun!

giving them a bath
and making a birth certificate
walking out with their cute fur babies
we even got Kellan a mini because we
felt bad...
super fun!
after build a bear we went to a yummy gelato place

then we came home, Rick heated the pool and everyone
including Oak jumped right in!
they thought it was summer!
then we ordered pizza and the kids ate it
in the playhouse

jacuzzi time!
it was such a nice day. It felt like summer!

then the girls finished it off with a sleep over!
I made the mistake of looking in her room!!
we celebrated as a family on Sunday
at Outback. Grandma and Grandpa B
 and Grandpa M came.

Then we came home and had a golf bundt cake and opened
presents!

Kellan was seriously more excited
for Mia's bday than his own. He loves
her sooo much. It was adorable how his face
was lighting up after she opened every
present

more stuffed animals ahhhhhh

Grandpa M
She had a great day! On her actual bday yesterday
she had to do state testing allll day and was pretty upset
about it, I dropped her off at her grandma Bs and she took
her shopping with her gift cards and dinner at Cheesecake
Factory. Then she came home and did a fashion show for us!
She was so funny! I didn't even make any request besides sandals
so I thought that was pretty good of me. I just let her get what she wanted.
I can't believe she's 9. She is so smart, funny, sensitive, loving, perfectionist,
worrier, animal lover, serious, spiritual,  and a really good sister. I can't wait to
see how she grows and becomes even more amazing.

Golf Tournament/ Living museum/ Oak/ Soccer

Mia had another golf tournament and did amazing
She's getting better and better. I got to entertain Kellan
which is really hard in such a quiet game!!

It was a beautiful day though!
Mia and Kira at a field trip at the Smith Center
to watch "Little Prince"
Dad came to reading week and read to the kids
I told him he's crazy. He had to go get in uniform,
shave, get a patrol car, and be late for work all to read
but he loves it and the kids did too.

 Mia helping him read

 my silly class
 Mia getting another reading award
She's read all 10 Little House on the Prairie
books and didn't want to read the last one because it was
the last and she was really sad about it.

Mia did the Living Museum at school. It's a 3rd grade tradition.
She was the first female veterinarian in the US Florence Kimball. She had a blast
and Kellan even memorized half of her speech from listening to her practice so much!
It was funny
 Mia and Kira
Kellan and I had a little date and he fell
asleep on the way there. It was so funny.
I had to pack him into the movie theater!
But he woke up haha
 cutie!
of course we had to take some fun pics
it rained so much a few weeks ago that Kellan had to go play and
use his little razor and get in the water
 movie time
Kellan finally got his own furniture. He's been using Mia's
baby furniture and it was done. He is so excited to have
a bunk bed and desk.

 cute desk
Kellan is so funny at Mia's golf practice,, here he is using
binoculars to see her swing.
He got to start soccer a few weeks back and is loving it.

 leftie for everything

He had his first game last Saturday and
actually won. I was shocked. He thinks it's football.
He's constantly on the ground or falling on purpose and
he just bulldozes through everyone, super aggessive!!
Grandpa M came and he was very excited about that.
Uncle Greg got the kids passes again to Nascar
so they had an awesome day in the suites and seeing the race

 loving it

Rick's friend from HS was there working
Oak got his first official groom and he was so fluffy!

We kept saying he looks like an 80s rocker
and we made sure to tell the groomer
"Don't poodle our doodle"
He ended up super cute!
