Family Pics

We decided to go with a different photographer this time
She's a senior in high school. Didn't she do a great job? Mia
was mad because she said she didn't let her "express herself" like the other one does
haha She could have an entire session of herself and be completely happy about it

Kellan's first movie and the Fourth of July Fun

I never got to post this pic from Monterey but this is
Pebble Beach Golf Course. Mia got to go and see it and send her
Golf coach Joey this picture. We've been doing golf camp this summer
and she absolutely loves it which is pretty crazy since it's from 9:00-12:00 and sooo hot!
She has a grin on her face every day we pick her up and her coach wants her there so much that
he lets her come whenever she wants without paying just so she can be there. He is so amazed by
this new talent and we are really excited she has found her passion and it's a sport! I have no idea what anything means so when she comes home and says, " I hit the ball 65 yards or I did this or that, I just smile and say good job! Then I ask Rick what it means haha. She's even watching golf on TV!!
That is crazy to me.
And here is the other goof watching grandpa B putting
something together in his garage. He is happy as long as he's with grandpa.
He sat in his bathroom the other night while my dad lotioned him up, did his hair, and
put cologne on him. It was so funny.
Dress up time: I thought it was pretty creative to put
construction goggles on as part of his superhero getup.
kitty and puppy- of course they had to drink from bowls on the
ground- doesn't every kid do that?
building tents with Kinzy while mom and dad were at
the Mayo Clinic
two superheros

I've been telling Rick I want to take Kellan to the movies
and he said you are crazy, he won't last, well I decided to go to
Inside Out last minute and invited Grandma M so she could stay with Mia
if Kellan went into crazy mode but guess what , he was
sooo good and sooo excited about being at the movies, he didn't make a peep
besides saying, "Hi Grandma really loud" He just kept grinning and has been asking to
go back every since!
Grandma M even passed down her reusable bucket for 2015 haha
We took the kids to the discovery museum the other day so that
was fun. Kellan wanted to go in this air thing that went up to 80 mph
winds and he loved it.

they were excited about the new dinosaur exhibit

I headed up to St. George, Utah with the kids for
the 4th of July. We went to the Splash pad and this water
river thing, it was Kellan's first time at one and he was loving it.
and then there was Mia who said she wasn't going
to get her hair wet. haha
Their little Discovery Museum was right next door
so we went in there and they had a blast!

Brooke and I were bad at taking pics of them all!
When we got back to Brooke's house, Laya and Kellan were napping and
this huge hail storm started. It was crazy, then we walked outside and this was in
the park in their backyard. The kids wanted to run in it so bad and Chris couldn't control his
excitement either so they all ran around in it and we tried not to think about the muck that
was probably swimming around.

I don't know what we were thinking but we didn't get any pics of the parade
but it was nice to have overcast and not the beating sun. After the parade,
we went to the indoor Swim Park and the kids had a blast with their cousins
and going up and down the slide. Kellan looked like a little mini traffic cop at the top
because he kept telling the kids when to go and which slide to go on and he would only go
himself if this certain cute girl would say, "Ok now you just go." It was cute. Grandma M drove
up with Rick Saturday morning and met us at the park. It was fun to hang out with the cousins.

When we got home, we headed up to grandpa and grandma B's
house to watch the fireworks and light some of ours and swim of course.
cuties
nobody would look at the camera because they were worried
about Rick lighting the next firework haha
