LOOONG September

We had a PTA thing at Floyd Lamb Park and Kellan got 

to go into the petting zoo ( we did not know that they were 

all waiting to be fed so it was a little scary for Kellan)

 this pretty much sums it up he would not let me put him down

 they also opened up Horses for Heroes for Darnell families so 

Mia got to ride the horse and that was fun. Look at the pretty mountain in the background

 we mostly just ran around and played...

 Mia finally lost her first tooth. She thought it was hopeless

so she was super excited when it came out! Rick was coming back 

from hunting and called and said I will be hope in 10 minutes , well she wanted to surprise Rick

before he got home so she said mom hurry and yank it out so I grabbed a towel in the kitchen and yanked it out. She got blood on her cheek and thought it was the end of the world.

 As you can see there's already a tooth behind that's been waiting for the tooth to come out

 Rick transferred over to Northwest so he cut about 2 hours of 

driving time out of his graveyard night which is nice for me because he can usually

make it home before I leave for work and help with Kellan breaking down crying when I leave 

he seems to be getting worse with being attached to me. He gets to play with Grandma M 3 days a 

week, so we are very lucky.

 I tried to get a church pic of the kids but

 this is where I caught this guy, I might as well just 

put his crib in here

 Rick celebrated his 34th birthday this week. We went to dinner

and had cake/presents.

 these pics crack me up because the kids are just very focused

on that cake!!

 wow, can I crop out the kids and just have Rick and I in the pic

 then Kellan decided to just start licking the cake head first without hands.

 Rick took Mia to the truck races at Nascar- Kellan will definitely want to 

go next year.

 she had a blast and loves being with her dad.

 Kellan had his first donut and likes to not use his

hands, it's so funny

aunt Bre sent my mom with a bunch of cute clothes for 

Kellan. Not only was mom very happy, when Kellan realized there was a Mater shirt in there,

 he was soooo excited. He wanted it on immediately and would not let me take it off. So cute.

We went to the park the other day and this other mom said to HER KID, you are such a big boy and

Kellan yelled, "I a big boy too!" She said you are a big boy and started laughing and then 5 minutes later he said to me, "Mama I a big boy too ok?" I was dying. This kid LOVES attention. We went to a party last night and he was giving everyone high 5s and then took ahold of someone else's grandpa's hand and was taking him all around the party to do different things with him. It was soo cute!

Mia and Spock

Mia is a First grader! I got this shirt last year to wear every year on the first day of 

school. 

she still hasn't lost a tooth but one is loose and one is actually already coming

in behind it! She told me it's just a lost cause, because all of her friends have lost theirs already.

First day of School! My 14th year and Mia's 1st Grade year in Ms. Szoke's Class!

She told me the other day that she's getting less sensitive because she's growing up so she will be 

crying less. ( we will see) 

Rick has been taking Mia to school every day and plans to continue on his

days off. They walk to school and Kellan gets to come and she loves it.

what can I say about this blonde hair curly cutie? Well at his 18 month check up which was

a little late so almost 19 months, he was 35 inches tall and only in the 30% for weight. The doctor said he's going to be about 6ft 4 or 5 skinny, blonde, blue eyes and have a really tough life.. haha. He is seriously so funny. He has the funniest personality. He even walks funny on purpose, he's just a total goofball and all boy. He repeats EVERYTHING and wants to do what Mia is doing. Definitely still a mama's boy and hes' way into the toilet thing but nothing has actually come out yet, he sits and wipes and flushes :) And he injures himself daily. He's obsessed with Gabba and Mater's Tall Tales, cars and motorcycles. Mia's nickname for him is Kellican like pelican, it's pretty cute.
