MIa's Dance Performance Kellan is 17 months!

 Grandma and Grandpa M: Mia had such an amazing

year in kinder. She is reading so great, writing paragraphs, doing reports,

it just amazes us. Keep up the good work!!!

 Dance performance

 it was another great year at dance and a successful (glad it's over) performance haha

Mia really does shine when she's on stage, she is sooo nervous but once she's on stage, she just dances 

with a smile on her face and doesn't miss a beat.

 Mia has been telling us for over a year that she wanted to do Taikwando

and we've just been saying ya ok and going on with our lives, well she told her

little friend Kira that her parents keep ignoring her that she really wants to do Taikwando

so we thought we would give it a try. She really does like it so far! 

 We took Kellan to the Shark Reef at Mandalay for the first time because he loves

fish.

 he's pretty hard to handle these days: into EVERYTHING

17 months old! He's talking a ton, his favorite thing to say now is NOOOO OK OK??

he loves to end his sentences with Okay Okay?? it's so funny and you will ask him a question and he will

say NOOOOOO at you, this kid is so stubborn it's crazy. 

 and he has to have some form of food /snack in his mouth at all times,

he's an endless pit with food. He will eat anything.

 grandma's pool is officially open for business so that's where we will be this summer!

Except there will not be any relaxing for me. Kellan is a maniac in the pool even after his swim lessons

with dad, so I have to be on guard all the time and he's in and out constantly so maybe I will get a tan chasing him around :) 

Mother's Day, Kellan is 16 months old

 Mother's Day: we went to church and had Outback take out at

Grandma B's when dad woke up. I got some great homemade cards, new

running shoes, flowers, and a pedicure and I got to spend the day with these two cuties!

 Mia had field day and they got these cute shirts from the Governor of

Nevada with college funds and money to start if they go to college in Nevada.

Pretty cute ( I hope she leaves Nevada for college though and she already has places picked out)

 I only got to visit for a minute and then I had to 

go pick up my kids but Grandma B came over so that was 

a fun treat! 

 This goofball is 16 months old, well he was May 2nd

He LOVES Gabba and wants to watch it constantly, he copies everything,

makes a pirate face, wants to sit on the toilet and says "potty", talks constantly 

and does not sit still for a minutes except in the morning for our cuddle time which if Rick even

puts a hand on me, he freaks out, growls at him and pushes him off. It's pretty funny. 

 I think it's about time for his first hair cut:( He's been called a girl several times this week must be

his pretty little face...

 We headed to Mt. Charleston this morning to do a little hike and

it was Kellan's first time in the backpack. He did great!!

Kellan wasn't in it. 

finally we got one! Rick changed his schedule to Wed, Thurs, Fri off so at least

he doesn't go in until Sat night which is a lot better for our family and me since I work 

all week. It's still hard to not sleep at night in the same bed 4 nights a week but it's temporary 

He's always so selfless when it comes to everything and he tries so hard to be a great dad and husband 

so we are very lucky!! 

Easter

 Kellan was seriously soooo cute about his basket! It was adorable

 and he got this cute little bunny that he kept making the funniest face at.

 dad and Kellan! Rick just got home from work so he stayed awake to see what

the Easter bunny brought and then headed to bed.

 this looks like a very sweet picture and I'm actually shocked I even got them

before church. I had to get everyone ready and myself alone which completely verifyed

the fact that I can not be a mother of 3 EVER. So then we are 10 minutes late because Kellan

decided to rip his diaper off right as we are ready to leave, so that was fun...

Mia wanting to give him an Easter kiss! So then we get to church and 

Kellan just wants to run around crazy. He loves little kids so he found some boys who were

hitting him in the face which he didn't realize at first and then got his feelings hurt so was screaming his

head off, I had to go in and out because he was running around and fighting me, and then someone opened the chapel door right into my back as I was trying to get Kellan under control ( I almost started crying at this point) Mia then walked out at the end and said, "Mom I'm just taking myself to class, please just take him home!" that pretty much sums it up, so we went home and came back to pick Mia up. The thought of chasing him around for another 2 hours was enough to make me start crying ( again) so I left. 

On a good note, we got to go to my mom's house for a yummy Easter dinner with Brooke, Chris, and Marlee too and the kids did another Easter egg hunt so that made up for church.
