Mia's 6th Birthday

Mia is 6 years old! Time sure does fly. She told me when she woke up,
mom, don't be too sad that I'm growing up fast, soon I will be 10 and can babysit Kellan.
She started the day going to school, her friend Kira brought donuts for breakfast and grandma B
brought In N Out for lunch. Then after school I brought these three goofballs home to start Mia's
Frozen party. Meet Rose and Kira. They are all in kinder together and have quite the personalities.

they played in Mia's room before the party started and got to dress up in the Elsa and Anna dresses

pin the nose on Olaf that I made at about 11:15 pm and have a nice slice
on my finger from scissors :)
If you want to build a snowman, making Olafs out of marshmellows

"Frozen" treats: blue cotton candy, covered Oreos,
marshmellow blue sticks and blue Hawaiian Punch
and yummy ice candy Grandma B made and a donut tower

cake number 1: Mia wanted everything blue and the frosting was almost the
death of me I was finding it everywhere, it was sooo messy! She also wanted blue cupcakes!
cake #2: made at 10pm on Thursday.
It was super fun to do though and pretty easy. I didn't
make it perfect, but it was late...Mia LOVED it.

 Kellan enjoying the party

ready for the cake and presents

 so funny

 getting the Frozen Movie
 watching Mia open presents

now that she reads, she wants to read everything, it's so cute

Mia was so excited about everything she got
My Little Ponies, Frozen barbies, dresses, bracelets,
a diary, a robe, she loved everything and even said, "Mom I
think I'm done getting toys. " Haha

grandma/grandpa M. We didn't get any of Grandpa and Grandma B oops
It was such a great party the girls even did the Xbox and had a little dance
party with Kellan just right there dancing along. Mia requested "filet mignon" so we had steaks,
burgers, fruit, and corn on the cob. Mia also got the Frozen CD and the girls danced around and acted out the whole movie. It was pretty cute.
 It was a great night.
We LOVE you Mia!
and onto this one.... This was when I accidently
left the door to the bathroom open for maybe 2 minutes...

since it's warm outside, Kellan wants to be outside all the time. He loves it

 goofball
and anytime he can be naked, he loves it. He is getting so fun. He's talking so much
and copying everything. He's even saying little 3 or 4 word sentences already. It's so fun to
see him grow. He's such a love bug too.
we transitioned him down to one nap after Spring Forward and
for the most part he has done it easily but this day Rick left the room and
when he came back, he was passed out. Sooooo cute.
Getting into things and being naughty is pretty hard work!

Mia and NASCAR and St. Patrick's Day Parade

We went to the St. Paddy's day parade in Henderson with
Brooke, Marlee, and Grandma B. They always have such a great turn out
We actually ended up leaving after 2.5 hours! They had a car show and carnival too
but Marlee passed out, Mia was tired and Kellan was getting hard to keep still
Rick was nice enough to come after working all night and save us
a spot ( I told him not to) but it was really nice to have a front row
until a group of kids came right in front of us.. so annoying
sorry mom, only picture and you were laughing
 Marlee and Brooke
We  kept entertaining the kids with candy.
I couldn't believe how much candy they passed out
Kellan made it all the way til we got home but then decided he only wanted to
take a 30 minute nap. It was fun to hang out with Marlee, too bad we were in school most of the time.
Mia at Nascar. Of course she was loving life! She got the garage pass again
as well as a suite filled with food from Uncle Greg down the street. LUCKY GIRL

 Her serious face

this kid LOVES this stuff. It is so funny. People think it's Rick who
loves it, but she is the one who could stay out there all day.

 serious face again

You can barely see her mouth open on this one, but the guys are coming down
She got some more autographs on her jacket too!
Rick asked her what her favorite part of the day was and she
said spending it with you dad. She LOVES going to Nascar with her dad.

50's Dance

Mia had a 50's dance at school so we all dressed up.

It was super fun, I was going to put Kellan in a white shirt rolled
up but I knew it would be sooo dirty so we went with the nerdy look on him :)

Mia's little friend Rose from kinder
Mia danced all night and so did this guy!
He was all about it, going in and out of kids
shaking his bum and doing this one arm behind
his back move, it was hilarious.

He just wanted to go to the stage and stare at the DJ,
he had too much fun and of course we got picked to go
up on stage and get an award for best dresses ( I was not too excited about that)
It was a fun night though!

Mia did her before dance pics at the house posing away.

Mia just got these back from Daughter Daddy Dance from her dance
place,  I thought they turned out sooooo cute. They really do look alike.
So I forgot to tell the story of Mia in her dance class. I have to preface the fact that since
Rick's schedule change, I haven't been going to dance, Rick takes her so anyway I went to dance
and I was already getting the stares of " Who is this lady? and the constant looking at me from the corner of their eyes." And noooo I am not exaggerating, this is just how Bunker Dance is.

Anyway, the last 10 minutes of class, Miss Diane takes these little cotton snowballs out and is passing out 2 per girl to play a game with. So I'm watching as Mia gets her snowballs, and I can see what is starting to happen before my eyes and I'm thinking oh no oh no don't do it. She methodically takes one snowball and places it inside leatard on the left side, then takes the second one and carefully puts it inside on the right side and then pushes them up looking in the mirror and then pushes them together!!!! All while looking in the mirror! Making boobies!!!

I felt a rush of red in my face and immediately hear the moms giggling and I just started laughing and said Oh no.Wow.  It was absolutely priceless. So we get in the car and I say Mia, do you remember that we can see you in the mirror when you are dancing, and she's like oops haha and I said, why were you making boobs from your snowballs? She said I don't know mom and started giggling.

We all did it, my favorite was apples and oranges but I just couldn't believe she did it in dance class in front of the class! Nobody else seem to notice around her, they were just getting their own snowballs, but Mia was very occupied with making those snowballs looks like boobs!! Rick was also VERY grateful that it was NOT him that was there and had to witness it. :)
