telling me something is gross. She HATES
being dirty. It is crazy. Her uncle Wally said
she's the cleanest beach digger he has ever seen.
Before we left, she dropped a popsicle in her room and
stained her carpet. She cried for an hour saying her room is
ruined forever and it will never be the same. Rick had to show her
it was fine. So funny.

Then Sunday we went to Newport beach for

father's day. Here are some pics with my dad

It was great spending time with my dad and our
whole family on father's day.

Unfortunately at one point while taking these

pics, Hailey decided to chase some birds a mile

down the road so luckily we caught her. She

is so FAST!!

It was great to go to Bre and Wally's ( I don't know

Dec so we decided to take advantage
while we were at Bre's. Mia loves
animals especially polar bears.

giving all the characters high fives. This is the end of

our vacation and we had so much fun. Mia keeps saying

can I go to the beach and Mickey Mouse's house next week?

She had the best time. She was very

excited that we were home, but she wouldn't

let me change her diaper and said, "No only Brooke

can change me." She LOVED being with Brooke.

was a ghost town, no one was there. It was really nice.

we loved having cousins over and playing with us.

Is it summer yet? I doesn't feel like it but we are

still eating popsicles. It's funny that we don't think

kids are as smart as they are, Mia told my mom

that she is going home to eat mac n cheese and

that mooom is going to eat a salad and said it very

sadly. Trust me I'm sad too.

So funny, she knows I'm on a diet?? What the heck?

This is Mia in the morning. She does not like to

be bothered until she has had her milk. She doesn't

get up til 9 and goes to bed at 9 and we have to go wake

her in the morning (we know how lucky we are) She LOVES

sleep ( so do we) So after this we were eating breakfast and

got into a mom daughter conversation about boobs and she asked

about hers and then mine and then said hers were little and mine

were big and I said yes, you can have big ones when you grow up and

she said, "maybe I can go to the store and buy some" I said, "Ya

you might have too!" (Heee Heee) Unless she gets her dad's side of

the family genes, she has no hope. :)

Mia got to go see my friend Denise's lab puppies.

She was in heaven. She LOVES all creatures

big and small.

She wanted them all to sit by her and she kept

saying, "Don't cry, please don't cry."
Then she decided to put each one
of them in the carrier and sit in there too.

She wanted to be surrounded.

I don't even want to think about what was on that

blanket. :)

Here is Mia singing her ABC's. She just loves to

learn. I hope she stays that way forever because

she is a little sponge right now.

What's Mia been up to lately? Started swim lessons

with dad (sorry no pics) and is doing very good

she doesn't do anything she doesn't want to though,

the swim teacher said it was her turn to go under and

she said No probably not. The teacher thought it was hysterical and couldn't believe she's only 2.

On Sunday she told me she doesn't want to go to church or get dresses and that

Mr. Bear doesn't want to either, she said I just want to wear something confy.

One thing about Mia, at least she's got manners when she's

got an attitude, I will say let's go to the store, No thank you mom

no thank you and she's full of please thank yous and will push you aside and

say excuse me. She's also been saying to me I promise ALOT, promise to eat,

brush her teeth, anything. Or just a couple more minutes mom. It's funny!

Rick smacked my butt as I was putting her in the car the other day and she

said, Oh no dad I think mom needs to go in time out!

favorite place: chucky cheese, My mom takes her

when she watches her sometimes and she LOVES

it. She puts the tokens in and just has a blast. The other day

I caught her on her pretend phone calling my mom saying,

Hi grandma, you miss me? Let's go to chucky cheese oh really

grandma , (laugh outloud) come get me in the jeep, by grandma.

She is a chatter box!!
