While I was getting ready for Mia's bday and
Bre's shower, Rick took her to Touch a Truck
She had a blast.
She got to go inside all the trucks, drive them
and everything.
notice her birthday girl shirt :)
Nascar fun. She's so cute!
Grandpa M went too. She had a blast!

this is last St. Patrick's day, same
dress. Isn't that depressing?
look how big she has gotten?

Happy St. Patrick's Day
Mia got this dress from grandma M
last year.
so she wore it to church on Sunday
I almost didn't get her to church. She
kept saying, I don't want to go to church
mom, I want to stay home in my jammies.
Do you blame her?

Mia begged me to get her ladybugs
because Amanda (sitter) and her kids
Lilly and Nicholas got them, so we did. Look
at her face!!
I love when little kids bend down, so
cute!
You either get 300 or none, but she had fun
except she kept running around the house with them
swinging the box this way and that and I thought Rick
was going to have a heart attack. It was funny. Could
you imagine all those in thick carpet? I just laughed.

This is our new toy- I got an amazing deal so
I just couldn't pass it up. As you can see, Mia LOVES
it. Hopefully my butt and legs will too. JK
such a tall and skinny little munchkin

and yes bear is there too. She just kept saying
I'm having so much fun mom, thanks mom, this
is such a fun day!
All I can say to anyone with kids is, it's all about the snacks.

Here is Mia saying some of the letters that she knows,

she has about 20 by heart but here are a few. I've

been trying to get this on video since before Christmas.

Here is Mia saying our names and counting to ten-

well 8. She has been counting for awhile now but

won't ever do it on video.

Random Pics of cuteness: this one was
before church. She really is as sweet as
she looks in this picture 99% of the time
She told Rick the other day, I love you dad,
and then started rubbing his arm and said,
you're such a good boy. It melted his heart.
She is sooo tall, this is a 3 T dress
but she is so skinny that it doesn't
fit anywhere else. Ignore the bangs,
I couldn't wait til grandma got back
from Utah and well ya, that's all I
have to say, next time, I will wait.
The other day we were eating dinner
at my mom's and she says, Grandma
you have a big butt! She's like, excuse
me, anyway she tells everyone on a daily
basis that they have big butts, except her
of course, she says it's little.
Mia before bedtime: She is done with her bath
by 8:15 and we are literally reading til 9! It kills
me on the weekdays cause I'm exhausted but
how do you tell a kid to stop reading???
We've been moving dirt with grandpa's bobcat
and Mia LOVES it so much. She's just happy as
can be. Another little funny story: Rick always
asks her , are you daddy's girl or mom's girl
and she says mom's girl. It's cute. I'm sure
that will change when she becomes a teenager.
She also loves saying her full name Mia Meyers.
It's too cute.

Does this face look familiar Nicole? Now when
I take Mia's picture, she automatically cheezes
it to where you can't even see her eyes.
Speaking of eyes, look at my dad's eyes, now
do we know why Mia's are sooo blue.
She just loves being on the bobcat and her
bear of course sitting in her lap.
Mia after her bath
random cuteness
I just love this little spitfire!

Updates on Mia: Grandma and Grandpa M
got to watch her this week so Rick would take
her to the park and then leave her with them
before work. She had a GREAT time with them.
Latest funny stories: she is obsessed with pockets
so she keeps putting things in them. Well she was naked
and out of the tub and said, "Mom, I need a pocket"
I told her she didn't have one because she was naked,
and she said, "Yes I do, I have a pocket in my bum!"
So that's what she says every day now and Rick
and I hope she doesn't put anything in there :)
She is also starting to throw little tantrums and
when Rick and I try to get her to stop, she says,
No I just keep on whining!!! It's hilarious, we
even heard her last night yellling it in her dreams.
She is a spitfire!
She's so long and skinny!
running in the park :)

Grandma M, Mia, and dad
Getting ready for her namesake , just kidding :)
Eating lunch with Grandma and Grandpa M
and being silly.
What a goof!
After her nap: bear, blanket, binky,
and drink

Introducing my niece Arianna (I'm taking credit for the name :) )
Born Feb 9th 7 lbs 19 inches long. This makes the 4th grandkid,
another one gets here in April. Exciting!
Anyway, we are back and smiling- after a terrible
week of Stomach Flu with constant diarrea and
puking and me running over Spock in the garage
on the way to work ( yes he's alive and okay)
I'm glad to see this smile again, she's happy,
a little bit of an attitude from being spoiled while
sick , but she is so much better. We took her to the Shark
Reef at the Mandalay Bay. She had a blast!

Here's Mia singing Twinkle Little Star, my camera

card got full in the middle of course, so I will have to

post again- she LOVES reading her books.

Updates on Mia: she's so stinkin funny, has the
cutest grin, in fact she said, "I'm so funny" the other
day, she puts her cooking hat on and says,
"I'm ready to cook" The only bad to that is that
it is usually at 8:30pm when I'm trying to get her to
go to bed. She tells me 5 more minutes mom when
I want her to clean up and then 2 more minutes mom,
but she just keeps doing it over and over again. She always
has that bear who rarely sees the washing machine because
she won't let him go for more than 5 minutes. She's still
dancing like crazy, follows me everywhere saying, "What
are you doing now mom?" I can't even pee in peace, but
she's my little sidekick and gives me kisses and hugs all day long.
This is her new smile, look familiar Nicole?
Scott and Hailey make the same face!! She is constantly
trying to cook with me which is fun and she got
this new kitchen well, it was at a garage sale
from Grandma and Grandpa M and
she won't let me put it in the backyard where it's
supposed to go. She just keeps saying, this is my new
kitchen mom!
She still has the bluest eyes ever and is skinny
and tall.
She is non stop action from morning
til night and so much fun to play with.
Whenever I cook , she runs, grabs
her cooking hat, asks me to put her
apron on and says, "I'm ready to cook!"
What a cutie!!

cutest cook I've ever seen!
Mom and Mia
Mia is absolutely obsessed with Yo Gabba which
most of you know, because you keep adding to
her collection. She has everything you can think
of Gabba. She role plays with them constantly
and she sings/dances to their songs all day long,
so I decided her 2nd birthday will be Yo Gabba
Land! Filled with a Brobee cake and lots of fun.
I'm so excited. She will LOVE it.
Here's the gang: She kisses, hugs, and takes
them everywhere. She doesn't have a favorite,
and she sings : Don't Bite Your Friend to Spock
our cat, Please and Thank you song, Wiggle Wiggle
Stop, If I try it I'll like it (everytime she eats
something new) It is fun to watch her get so
excited. ( I was the Flinstone and Smurf era)
speaking of cat: Spock thinks we buy Mia's toys
for his pleasure. This is a mini tent that Mia puts
her animals in and he thinks it is where he lives.
Doesn't look like a mama pig to me?

Here is Mia listening to country music and using

her little toy guitar to help her with the lyrics.

Notice her eyes are closed? She always dances

with her eyes closed. It's so funny!
