So we've been trying to get this on camera for
awhile. This is her face when she sees something
very exciting. Like my sister Nicole says, she
is such a talker but it's like she has to express
every feeling/moment she has. Maybe she will
be a writer later on. When she eats, she says MMMMM,
when she sees a bug she shivers and says eeeeeewwwhhh and
shakes her head, she's a funny one.
Mom and Mia
Discovering new things.
Helping water plants.
Last summer we took the same picture. We
can't believe how big these girlies are!

Hailey and Mia in the pool.
Covered in sunscreen.

Hanging outside.

Hanging with Grandpa.

This shows you how much taller Mia is than
Hailey and Hailey is 3 1/2 month older. It's a crack up!

Mia has my love for chocolate! This is
her first icecream bar- oreo. We've tried
to give her fruit ones or any other flavor
and she only loves chocolate. Too much
while I was pregnant with her I guess :)
Friday night we went to Red Robin and then came home
with our icecream and played in the sandbox. One more
week and I get to play with Mia all summer because
school will be out. I can't wait !!

This is what I found when I heard
that sneaky silence for awhile. Funny,
her dad has the exact picture when he
was little.
She finally after awhile came out of
her little cave...
There she is cute little thing!
She is REALLY into this potty stool. Maybe
she is ready for the potty :)
Mia got to help grandma with her flowers. Hopefully
one day we can have our own little garden to grow
in our new house :)

FYI - Mia isn't wearing a half top. It just keeps
going above her little budda belly.
She really did enjoy this.
Here is Mia using sidewalk chalk in our new
house. It's the only way to keep her busy while
we are walking around. You should have seen her
little bottom when she stood up!!
Here's the latest pic of the house.

Look at that innocent little face...
Still so sweet...

AHH! Here comes the attitude!!
This is the little chair my dad made me when
I was little. It has a "C" on it for my name
and it's like a puzzle, so it comes apart.
We got it out for Mia ( thanks Nicole) we forgot
about it , and as you can see she loves it!

cute little thing!
Mia loves pushing her dolls around or bears actually.

And riding her 4 wheeler.

She is really good at it.
It goes a little too fast for me! I get nervous.

I think I have a toddler now, at 1?
I used to think my sister's kids were
high energy, but Mia is right there
with them. From the time she wakes
up, it's playing hide n seek,
Trying on mom's clothes,

Wearing dad's shoes..

And telling you about it...
Mia is now saying: up, all done,
kitty, mom, dada, pampa (grandpa)
maaama (grandma) ouch, hot (thanks to
her toe touching the cement, everything is now
hot) ball, shoes, done, mmhh, Oh NO, Whas that,
mooo (cow), vrrm (cars) and of course NO. NO all day long!

And it keeps going, Using her key to try and open the door.
Concentrating hard...

Trying to use my computer mouse.

Sneaking up to the computer...

Through all this mischief,
Her eye is getting better...

It looks worse in person. Mia somehow dove head
first into my wood headboard right in front of me. Icouldn't believe it.
It was like slow motion. She was trying to land on pillows. Anyway,
at least it missed her eye but she had a huge bump on the top of her head too.
You can see it better at a side view. It's been a
long week at school with 24 3rd graders who are
ready for summer break... me too. Anyway, I
cried more than she did.
My mom says it's one of many battle wounds of
being a kid, but I just want to protect her from
all of that...
Summer Days: Mia after swimming, naked on
her towel eating fruit snacks and watching
cartoons, looks like a perfect day!
My mom's cat thinks so too!!

Mia and mom on Mother's Day getting ready
for church.
Brr she is saying after her swim, so grandpa
bundled her up.

So we heated up the jacuzzi to about 85 degreess.
She had a blast.
I need to start her swim lessons soon. She was
already blowing bubbles under the water without
our help!

Mia looking cute as can be.

She was wearing this little jumpsuit that
was so stinkin cute on her with her chubby legs.
