New School year and Visit with Grandmas

Rick and I decided to go see our grandma's in Idaho
Mine in Rexburg and his in Pocatello. It was a very long 18 hour
drive we made in 2 days but worth it!!
First stop was Rick's grandma who is in her 90s and hilarious.
She talks about how she doesn't need men in her life and she doesn't need
to take care of any man. She's so cute and funny and definitely a spitfire!

We took her to Red Lobster and got a tour of her assisted
living home.
I took Rick out to see my first house growing up and the
one after that. It's so breathtakingly beautiful in St. Anthony.
Summers are heaven on earth there..

second house
We went to my grandma Lil's assisted living home
She is suffering dementia and it was beyond sad to watch
how emotional she is. She cried most of the time but let me
hold her sweet hand and cuddle with her.
We took her down to eat dinner. The place she
is at is beautiful.

I love her so much! She wants to go home to my grandpa and
I wish with all my heart she could make that decision.
I am so glad I got to hold her , love on her, and be with her.
kids were happy at home with Grandma and Grandpa B making breakfast

my mom and I made Jam, this is Kellan's way of helping ...

hard work paid off!!

 our tradition
It's still 110 degrees so we are at the pool constantly

at the lake - Kellan even tried his wake board...

 Mia did so awesome!

WE love the lake!!! Mia also wake boarded too on top of skiing
Kellan and dad at an Aviators game!!

Kellan trying to decide if the pool is a good
temperature haha

Kellan was so cute the other day, he said he wanted to
practice being a good husband and could I help him
make breakfast in bed for her.. omg he is so cute!  and so romantic
First Day of School 6th and 1st

It's so weird to only have one kid again
at my school, I'm sad Mia is not with me and
I don't get to see her all day every day
but she is loving middle school and she is becoming
such a wonderful young lady... So impressed with her!!

Mia and her BFF Kira :) Leavitt Middle school
Unfortunately parents sent kids to school the first few days sick
so this was Kellan mid week on the first week, poor little guy
then Mia was to follow on the weekend fever and all
ugh I already miss the summer and being away from all the germs!!
