Spring

 Spock is really enjoying Kellan's new bunk bed 

 and being outside

 Mia at another tournament!

 Kellan has been on a crazy police dress up thing where he gives out tickets

and everything. Rick doesn't even wear a uniform right now and we have 

no idea where he's getting it all from. 

 Mia got a new stuffed animal which means so did Oak!

 our favorite sitter in the world moved to Utah so 

we had to find another one for Kellan for the last 6 weeks

it was crazy to say the least and I'm glad school is finally out

We love her so much! 

 Kellan made this for her. He just loves her so much. 

 Field day fun! It was soooo hot but they had a 

great time :)

 we went to the Helldorado Parade in May and it was actually cold!

 my friend and I took the girls to the Marriott for some 

girl time :) 

 Mia made this note for Kellan and he was so excited about it, he packed it around for a week.

 Mia has been really into reading consumer reports it's so funny

She will get a pile in her room act like it's Christmas! She can 

pretty much tell you how your car rates in several categories. Her principal

needed a dishwasher, so she actually made her a 15 page voice operated power point

and she's paying her this summer to do another one on vacuums. She's too much!

It was a great first experience and he LOVED school 

minus some mean boys but I loved going to their graduation and 

hearing from the girls how Kellan was the only sweet boy and he told me

mom do those girls have the cutest names ever?! He just loves girls

all ages, and being social, he's just a happy and loving little boy! 

 this is what happens when I would get home from work in 

May and crash on my bed- it's been a long school year, I barely made it out

alive, my 16th year and they are getting harder and harder, but this face would 

always come right up next to me and it made me feel better.. 

 my sisters, mom and I took our every other year trip to

Seattle this time! One of my favorite places in the world,

I was a little sad I didn't have Rick with me, it's where we fell in love

 but I was so excited to show my sisters everything , I was surprised how well

I knew my way around and we had sun the ENTIRE time which is a pure 

miracle! Clouds came in as we rolled out! 

 also had to sport my Seahawks stuff every day.. 

 Brooke and I ran every day and it was so funny because we would

come back super hyper from our runner's high and everyone would still be 

sleeping, we were hungry and like let's get this day going!!! 

It was a fun trip!  

 I came home and we still had two weeks of school left

Mia got tons of awards at the end of the year award assembly including

a 350 point reading counts award. She read over 30 chapter books to get it and they had to be in her

Lexile range which is high. Only one other boy at school got it besides her,

she was sooo excited. She was a little disappointed in the trophy

 but I added a gift card to Barnes and Noble too.

I had so much fun being in the same grade this year, I saw 

her sooo much and it was just fun to have her in my grade!
