Last of summer fun

Mia had a fun little bday party with her BFF at the Marriott 

pool where Rick and I got married. They even got a nice cabana

sometimes it pays to live in Vegas :)

 we went to the lake for my mom's bday. It was super fun

to surf and wakeboard and eat snacks the whole time which is

why Kellan says you go to the lake :)

 we went to Wet n Wild with Laya and Marlee.

They had a blast even though the heater was turned off and the water was seriously ice

 Rick took the kids to Mt. Charleston to go camping. They had a fun time.

It was Kellan's first time so he didn't sleep at all...

 Grandpa M even came up for dinner. Kind of nice for only 30 minutes away?

 Mia's golf coach moved the end of August. I had to post his

letter because I want it in her book forever. They had a special bond and 

he truly believed in her ability and what an amazing thing to have someone rooting for you as

a person and in a sport. We will always keep in touch and appreciate him helping Mia get her first 

taste of golf and love it.

 Rick and I drove to Pasadena to watch Coldplay

for my bday present from March. It was the first time

someone watched the kids overnight that wasn't a grandparent.

It wasn't without it's challenges for sure, but it was only a night and they

are still alive ;)

And Mia is preparing Spock for our upcoming new addition to the 

family. She's trying to put other friends with him
