For some reason, blogger is being very testy and I don't have
the patience to fix this, so some pic are out of order. We celebrated
Mia's 5th birthday on Saturday because we are going out of town this coming
weekend and we wanted her Aunt Brooke, Uncle Chris, and Marlee to come too.
We have been lucky enough to have Aunt Brooke at all her birthdays! This year,
we switched from Disney Cars to Mia REALLY wanting a Snow White/ Princess
themed party. Of course I didn't mind, because I could have her dress up and I found this
adorable Snow White costume for her and when it came, I was so impressed. It was velvet and
even had the ring around the bottom that made the skirt big. She was SO EXCITED and had it on most of the afternoon before people even got there. She kept saying, "Mom my guests haven't
arrived yet." So cute! Then I did this super fun Snow White cake and put the cute little dwarfs around
her skirt. It was actually the easiest one so far! Both grandparents, Mia's sitter Kinzy and mom came too. It was so much fun!
We actually decided to surprise Mia and dress up too.
My mom and Brooke dug through old prom dresses and
bridesmaid gowns and I was the evil queen. I wanted to go
get the guys some crowns from Burger King but we let them off the hook.
We even put Spock in a cute little fancy tux tie for the celebration.
Of course Mia wanted to have a bundt cake too because
she never lets me break open the fancy cake, so here is Rick
bringing the cake in...
And for some reason these pictures wouldn't move, but
this is Mia taking all of her aggression out on her pinata.
It was so funny!

Getting ready to blow out the candles
back to the pinata, this picture is so funny because Chris came
to the party late to fin Mia "attacking" her pinata and he hurry and ran
to the other side. haha
Mia even dressed up bear like Rapunzel, it was too cute
She got tons of Disney princess dress up costumes and lots
of other really fun things. She was so excited and told me just
how "grateful" she was for all of her presents and that
it was the best birthday yet.
Now this was all Mia's idea. She said because it was a
Snow White party she wanted to bob for apples. So Aunt Brooke
Uncle Chris, Grandpa B all gave it a try too. They were really good sports!

Then we played a super cute game where we stood in
a circle on these cute princess pictures that Mia and her sitter
Kinzy made and played "musical apple" the music started and
everyone passed an apple around. When the music stops, whoever
was holding the apple had to pretend to faint and die. Mia was so hysterical watching her
grandmas, grandpas, and Aunt and everyone pretend to faint and die. It was precious!
When Mia's guests arrived, they each got a crown and a ring pop to wear
including cute little Marlee...
Mia did this all herself at about 10 am. She's a perfectionist so she had everything out
perfect with the silverware and plates, she was just too excited!
And we had some super yummy cookies Aunt Brooke brought from
St. George along with Mia's favorite meal "filet mignon" Spoiled!
And we dressed chunk in a little brother
shirt even though he's not so little these
days haha :)
