Newport Beach 2012

 Well this is the first night in Cali and as you can see

Mia was VERY excited about being on the beach!

 She immediately got in digging along with her cousins

more than everyone else, she LOVED it.

 Beautiful day digging: we really lucked out and 

had beautiful weather the whole week :)

 Rick grabbed Wally's boogie board and gave it a try

 Mia really wanted to get buried but she told Rick that

she needed boobs and a belly button too. Haha!

 Back to Crystal Cove looking for crabs: Grandpa and Ari

 It was a pretty high tide but they LOVE looking for sea

creatures.

 Bre, Wally, Kyse, and Laith came to the beach Monday

but I couldn't get Laith to look at me for a picture :(

 sisters! Missing Brooke, Nicole is due in just a few months :)

 Rick and Grandpa spent a lot of time digging holes with Scott,

the girls kept him busy: Ari, Hailey, and Mia were asking for holes

 They were also searching for baby crabs under the sand

 Everyone got a load and ate it during the week

 We took Mia to the mall where she loves to see the big fish

 She just loves California and was sad that she had to leave

 off to the huge fair where they got to see day old pigs and lots of little animals

 My dad let the baby calf suck his finger and people were a little 

freaked out haha. I guess he doesn't look like he was raised on a farm!

 The kids got to ride a bunch of cool rides at the fair.

They had a blast.

 Mia even rode her first rollercoaster with her cousin Scott,

she gives in to peer pressure but she LOVED it!

 little Ari wasn't tall enough for rides so she got her face painted and 

wouldn't let Nicole get it off, when she finally did, she cried. too cute!

 We went to dinner at the Cheesecake factory one night at the mall.

These two are too cute for words! They just get along so great, they are a lot alike,

even down to their OCD and smarty pants. Mia just adores him, it is precious to watch.

She can swim across the pool now but she would tell Scott she can't make it and he would

come over to her and carry her. Oh boy! He's such a good kid! And loves his sisters and cousins:)

 Kevin had to stay in Logan to get the house ready and work so Rick

was the adopted dad for the week, the kids loved it!

 They got to go to a cute pet store where they actually

let Mia walk a dog around the mall for an hour, too cool

This is a $1,500 lynx cat Mia is holding. Mia just loves animals 

so much. She could've stayed there all day!

We usually get more family pics on this trip

but we were too busy! We had a great time swimming, digging on

the beach, going to the fair, and lots of eating. It wouldn't have been the same without all

the cousins! Kids are what make these kind of trips and they had a blast :)
