Mia in our hotel room before Polar Express!
very excited! Waiting for her grandparents to arrive
Then she got tired since she didn't nap at all on the way
to Williams, Arizona.
Mia and Grandma M walking around the little train depot
in Williams before the train ride.
Mia got to deliver her mail to Santa's Mailbox
She was really excited.
And here's the train, it was amazing! The train pulled
up and it was snowing right when we got there. The whole
town was lit up with beautiful lights and it was just beautiful
Mia with her grandma and grandpa M
We were in the F train cart so we started heading
that direction
Mia decided to stick her tongue out on the cold pole
Waiting for us to get on the train
Taking our tickets
And here we are: they gave us hot cocoa, cookies,
read the Polar Express, sang songs, it was definitely
magical.
We were on the 5:30 train, so we got to see everything
in the light and then it got dark while we were headed to
the North Pole!
We even got to go through the time tunnel that had
lights on both sides and they told us to scream as we
went through.
Mia enjoying her cookie and giving it a "thumbs up"
Of course bear couldn' miss the trip!
This is my favorite face, because it shows just how
excited she was!
Here we are at the North Pole!
Oh look who is here? Santa came on the train and gave
everyone a beautiful bell to ring!
This is a face of "I can't believe that was Santa"
It was a very special time on the train, and Mia enjoyed
every minute. So did the rest of us!
We got to spend the night at Williams, eat at a really
good local restaurant and "tried" to get some sleep.
Mia was SOOO hyper, that we almost called the restaurant
to see if her rootbeer had caffeine in it. She was dancing around
and being crazy til almost midnight. We couldn't believe it!
At one point, she was heating her bare bum on the floor heater,
wow guess that's what happens during the holidays!!
The next morning, we got up and went to the snow to
build a snowman. Well dad built it, mom and Mia just
watched and found the assessories. It was a lot of fun!
And we got to do a snowball fight
And eat some snow
then we went to Bearizona with grandma and grandpa
M. We got to drive through a few miles to see bears
and then we got to walk through a zoo. It was a ton
of fun.
Thanks for going with us Grandma and Grandpa M!!
A few pics that didn't get put up: Mia making
candy with Brooke, Grandma Lil, Grandma B, and myself!
For all those who think my dad is always serious,
this is a classic, he's been making this face for years :)
Mia's preschool was doing a singalong last week, so this
is Mia getting ready to do.
She was very excited to see us, she practiced the songs
every day for a week and she was very serious about it.
It was really cold outside ( not sure why they had it outdoors)
but she managed to make it through
As you can see she was about the only one singing and
boy was she singing, it was really adorable. She LOVES
school so much.
Both grandparents came even though it was too cold
to get more pics, but we are so glad they came!
A few little things Miss Mia has said lately
that I have to share: She got her purse the other day
and said, "Do you know why I have to get my purse?" So
everyone will know I'm not a little kid. Our elf
Nicholas got her the monster from Rudolph and every night she takes
all my clothes out of my bottom drawer and puts him in there and covers him
up and shuts it. Then each morning, she comes and gets the monster. I asked her
why she did that and she said it's because monsters are nice during the day, but
at night, they will eat you for dinner! I thought that was really cute! This morning,
I found her in our closet with her microphone and the cat. I asked her what she was doing and
she said she was interviewing the cat about his life. It was so funny. She was even asking him about
his brothers and sisters and what he wants to do with his life.
She cracks us up! We love her SOOOO much! :)
