NASCAR

 Kellan got to go with Rick on Friday to Nascar 

and absolutely loved it.

 Mia got her turn on Saturday

Mia had a really awesome story with Jimmie Johnson

she was waiting outside his trailer and one of his crew chiefs

came out and said to come with him but told Rick he had to stay

She got to go inside his trailer where Jimmie Johnson was putting his socks

and shoes on. She got to talk to him about his race, see his trailer, and then he said

I think you need a new hat, and he went to grab one in his cupboard and then decided to take it

off  his head and give her that one instead and signed her other one. Rick said she came out 

beaming. She told me it was the best day of her life!

This is the hat that he gave her and she even slept with it all night. So cute!

February

 Well 3 is just as hard as 2 was, he's scared of monsters so

we are back to running into our room at night, his favorite word is 

whatever- thanks Kyse from Xmas, and he is still always worried about

whether everyone is happy or mad, he will be a stinker and then say mom are 

you mad, dad are you mad? Don't be mad be happy it's a beautiful day. This kid!

 Mia is just reading away, she's been reading the Little House on the Prairie books

and watching the reruns, she asked if there was anything bad on one episode and I said

there's probably worse stuff on Disney cartoons! She's still in dance but is just loving golf so

much and is impressing her coach.

 Rick and Mia got to go to a Daddy Daughter

dance at Bunker dance a few weeks back so Rick got her a flower to 

wear and they went to Olive Garden and off to the dance, meanwhile

Kellan and I went to pick up food and as we were leaving, he said, "mom I thought

we were on a date?" So we stayed and ate and he was so cute about it. 

 Mia got invited to a golf tournament last Saturday last minute and 

so she went. Well the kids were all at least 5 years older than her as you can see

and she did the best, she's sooo consistent and focused and has an amazing drive apparently!

Her coach was very impressed with how she handled herself out there and he was just beaming.

He has very high hopes for her :)

 This is me pretty much. I remember my aunt telling me she doesn't know

how I go home and take care of kids by myself after teaching all day because her kids are grown

but she's so exhausted every day that she just crashes. Trust me I wish I could just sit and chill, because I am definitely drained. Daily. 

 Today I did my Willy Wonka Candy Machine presentation and

I woke up to 5 messages from parents telling me their kids were puking including

my main part Mr. Willy Wonka, I was crying, Rick offered to be Willy Wonka , ugh 

I thought that was the worst of it but then I get to work and kids are just dropping like flies

running to the bathroom to puke. This was all that was left by the end of the day. 

We did our best but

I was sad about it. 

 Last weekend, Nicole and the kids surprised me in my classroom,
Hailey was standing at my door asking where Mrs. Blaser's class was 

I was totally surprised. Anyway this was the only pic I got but as you can see

my kids were absolutely in heaven with their cousins all weekend. It was soooo fun 

to play and see everyone. Then I planned a secret night at the Redrock for Valentine's Day

with Rick ( we've been super grouchy at eachother lately) and then Kellan got sick, I got sick and

was pretty much having chills and a fever all night and didn't sleep . Oh the joy 

 Mia has been wanting Spock to sleep with her so she convinced

me to put his bed in her room well it pretty much rocked his world,

can you tell by his face? He was up all night screaming and kept coming in our room

and standing where his bed is suppose to be and just screaming .

So we moved it back.

Rick and I decided sleep is over rated, if Kellan isn't waking us

up, this face is.... it's so ridiculous.

January happenings

 we went up to the snow again, it was super icy so not quite as

fun because the kids couldn't even get up the hill without falling 

 I love this pic because Kellan grabbed onto Mia's hand

and I thought that was so cute

 of course right when we change church times, Seahawks

started playing while we were at church so we had to represent!

 It was actually pretty fun, this might just have to happen every year

during the season!

 It was grandpa B's 61st bday so I posted this one to facebook

dad said, " what's going on with my hair?"I said remember when

mom started doing perms! I got a few myself.

 then I found this one and boy does Kellan look like me!

I already knew that but def proof in this pic..

 We went to Grandma and Grandpa's house for dinner and cake

and icecream. Kellan told grandma she should get grandpa a Dora balloon

we thought that was funny

 Kellan gets to go with dad to Costco during the week 

and he gets churros, icecream and all sorts of goodies!

 we heated the jacuzzi for us and let the kids get in before bed

they had a blast and then Kellan did his usual fight so we didn't get to go in because it was so late!

One day this kid might sleep at night.... one day

 along with Costco Kellan gets to go to the park with dad too!

 Mia is wanting Spock to sleep in her room nightly so she wrote this note

 at least this one is a nice note, usually she leaves us one when she's mad at us

 Kellan has been obsessed with smoothies lately

 and walking Mia to school with Rick- he even puts kids

in time-out on the playground, it's so funny

Mia's favorite thing is to pick Kellan up from nursery

( yup I said nursery for the next 11 months) Anyway, we walked

out of class and there he stood with a crown and a cupcake soooo excited

because it was for his birthday. I just had to take a picture of this cutie!

Oh and his favorite words right now are 

stupid

whatever 

and hate. 

and he tells everyone he's going to miss them because they died.

great huh?

ughhhh we are trying he's definitely a parrot.
