Look how little she looks- she loves having a room

for the first time in her life. She runs to her room

and just reads to herself. It's the cuttest dang thing!

my little munchkin has a cold now! We've

been battling a cough for 2 weeks, both of us

and now she has a runny nose, really? Of

course right before I go back to work....

As you can see, she doesn't go far from her bear.

She even uses him to get things, make her taller so

she can reach,

or maybe it's to make a soft spot while she digs

in mom's drawers :)

I thought it was creative.

Mia's sitter Amanda took these

pics of her on her last day in June

before summer break.

She goes back on the 24th of

August.
I'm sad I can't be with her all
day but I wouldn't want her anywhere
else. She LOVES Amanda and her kids
Lily and Nicholas. Rick drops her off at 11ish
and I get her at 3:30, so it's just enough time
to enjoy playing and socializing. Plus the kids
teach her a lot of words and Mia really enjoys them.

Bre and Me at the spa called Glen Ivy in California.

We went into a mud bath and then had to wait for it

to dry and then shower it off.

We look pretty funny huh with mud all over...
After the mud bath, we went to the Grotto
where someone painted us with Aloe Vera cream
and we go and heat up in a rock room, then shower,
and cool down where our pores open and drink tea.
Definitely relaxing!!

I just got home from San Diego

to visit my sister Bre by myself,

a weekend of spa, shopping, and

sushi. Thanks Bre! I had a blast.

It was such a nice break

away from being a mom thanks

to my great husband for booking

my flight. I start teaching next week

so this was my last get away. Rick had

a fun weekend with Mia and they were

able to bond. I'm so grateful for Rick

who is such an amazing husband and

dad. He always knows what I need

and is willing to take over for me....

We just got back from our trip to Newport, CA

It was so much fun to spend the week with everyone

and go to the beach every day.

sorry Bre and Wally- last minute picture. Bre

and Wally live in San Diego and we went to their

house to barbecue and go to Legoland but I don't

think anyone remembered to take a picture of us all.
