My grandma had these brand new baby kittens,
3 of them who lost their mom the Friday before
we came. She got hit by a car. They were only barely
3 weeks old and had to be bottle fed every 3 hours
even at night.
I have never seen a 15 month old so determined
to feed "her" babies. She was doing it so perfectly
I couldn't believe my eyes.
She loves animals beyond anything else and I hope
she can be a vet or something one day.
I had to sleep in the same room as her at my
grandma's and she screamed and called for those
kitties all night long.
She honestly thought they were hers. What
a life experience for her. I'm so glad she got to
feed those little precious kitties.

Mia is obsessed with praying these days. She loves

saying "Amen"

On to the next destination, we arrived at my
mom and dad's house in Buhl, Idaho near Twin Falls
on Friday. This is the back of the house. We bought
a little pool for her (in the background) The house
is so nice, backs up to a pond and 5 acres of land to
the left with the Snake River right down the road. It
is a little piece of heaven.
My Grandma Lil (mom's mom) came along
from Rexburg which she definitely needed. We
tried to get my other grandma to come too,
but she had fun with Mia for a few days and
then we put her on a shuttle bus back to Rexburg.
We found this cool slide/swing combo
at a garage sale for $40. What a deal!!
The smile is worth it!
Just her size too. She slid down the slide
all by herself.
Rick and my dad were driving up Wednesday
to see us. We've had fun with just the girls!

So they have the coolest indoor swimming
pool in Buhl, it's heated from the hot springs,
and there were slides, high dives, and a log
that you have to try and stand on. It's the best
place. We went a bunch of times. They even have
a kid area that's a blast. Mia loved it. Rick and my
dad loved trying to stand on the log ( I stood the longest
by the way :) )
This is how you ride in Idaho! Mia
rode in the truck inbetween my mom
and I. I felt like I was doing something
illegal, but it was an old truck without
air bags so it's allowed. She loved being
able to see all the cows and the scenery.
We went to this concert in Twin with my
mom and her cousin Debbie. It was fun.
Then I took Mia on a horse and buggy ride.
She is so attached to that bear!

The "Idaho" swimming pool. Hilarious!!
It was fun though..
Mia sitting out after the pool!
Cute little grin!
Just hanging out.

Cute little thing!
Rick and Mia with this cool hiking
backpack we got when she was born
and we haven't used it yet.
The rapids next to my parents' house is
class 6 rapids which is really rough! Crazy!

My dad on the kayak.
Probably shouldn't be on the kayaks with this
storm coming..

Rick and I on the kayaks on the Snake River
by my parents' house..
Rick and I on the kayaks.
Rick and I.
My dumb self picked this frog up by my parents' house
because I thought it would be cute to kiss a frog
like the fairy tale, you know? Anyway, I ended
up with rashes on both arms the next day, so I thought
he was poisonous and I was dying. We now think he
may have stepped on poisonous oak or something and
his foot touched my arm.. Probably won't do that again.
He's cute though!!

walking around with a lifejacket
Mia concentrating on her fishing pole.
Still concentrating.
Look at that face!
Mia and dad...

Mia and grandpa with a fish. Look at her face!!
We all got in a canoe- not a good idea!! It was
very wobbly.
Fun on the canoe.
Walking around.
Mia and dad.

Just a cute pic of Mia.
Parade in Buhl, Idaho on 4th of July.

Mia in dad's glasses checkin out the
horses in the parade..
After the parade, everyone walks to
the park where they have fun stuff
set out.
Of course Mia found some puppies.

Dad got some little fireworks and did a show
for us in front of my parents' house in Idaho.
Look at that cute grin! She loved them!.

We set her on the back of the truck to get a
better view.
Almost a perfect picture. Anyone seen Mia?
