We haven't been to Disneyland since Kellan was two
so we had this planned since last summer since I knew the kids had
huge break for President's day. Well Kellan has pretty much been on breathing
treatments for a month for his caugh but of course got a fever the day before we
left and so we took him in just in case and he was testing for the flu and was positive for type B
so the whole family got to be on Tamiflu for 10 days, his fever broke and off we went with a medicine cabinet full of medicine that had to stay in the fridge, breathing machines, and the whole nine yards! BUT this guy was not happy about it one single bit!
since the prices went way up, we did 2 days instead of 3 and did
one park a day. Kids had a blast! The longest we waited was maybe 20 minutes.
Mia tortured me for missing a day of school though -- Valentine's day and I will never take her
out of school again. She just gets too much anxiety about it which is silly but I can't blame her.
I didn't miss a day from Kinder- Graduation. INSANE.
Kellan LOVED California Adventure and this ride especially and the Soaring over the World.
We actually went on a few rides I've never been on.
This Star Wars one was really fun..

Cars Ride- I love this because it looks like Kellan has ears
and Rick is in the back smiling. Mia went on this 5 times,
Kellan didn't like the way his stomach felt on the hills but loved the rest.

We headed to the beach to Rubys by Crystal Cove
the weather was amazing , warmer than it is in the summer
we couldn't get over it
we went to Crystal Cove and then to Newport Beach
we thought this was was a perfect pic Mia took til we realized Mia chopped

we actually stayed at the Marriott Bayview hotel in Newport
and even though it was a little farther from the beach it was really nice!
! Mia's favorite part was that the chef made her these every day so she was happy!
and we even got to go to the Crab Cooker!
We had a blast and everyone stayed healthy :)
I told Rick maybe we will go back to Disney when Kellan is 8!
It's just so expensive, kids had fun but loved the beach even more.
