Easter

 Coloring eggs- Kellan was "helping" but in a two year old

way so I put him down :)

 Mia wanted this fox for her bday and I could not find it anywhere

Good thing the Easter bunny could!

 He was hilarious. He would not let Mia touch his basket though

 out in the yard to look for eggs.. I think the Easter bunny just threw them out there

because they were not very hidden??

 then Marlee and Laya came to Grandma's and Grandpa's on 

their way back from Cali so we had another Easter egg hunt and

Easter lunch so that was super fun!

 Kellan moved his arm but he totally went right up to Chris and put

his little arm on his shoulder it was too cute

 Easter was a great day. We got to watch conference, hang out,

watch a movie about the true meaning of Easter and see cousins :)

 We started Mia in golf Saturday and so far she loves it.

We figure it's the perfect sport for her, it's a thinking game,

she doesn't have the stress of a team, won't get hurt, and she's tall

 Rick is on a new schedule starting this week,

Sergeant in SIS which is in the Organized Crime Bureau

so back to swings but Sat, Sun, Mon off so much better for him and us.

I will be tired Tues- Fri with working and coming right home to kids all night by myself

but no schedule is perfect with 2 working parents so this is better than most and not graveyard

so no more grouchy Rick for awhile, I hope :) 

Along with his new schedule, he gets to hang with Kellan all morning since he works 2- midnight so

he got his first, "I need to pee" today so they had to make an emergency stop in a parking lot haha

I'm glad he's wanting to get into this potty training thing, I was a little worried he was never going to.

 they ended up at the Container Park downtown to play 

and had lunch together so he's pretty happy to have his dad in the mornings :) 

this kid is so funny. His favorite word right now is Duh and What the heck?

Well Rick said Duh Kellan to him the other day and he got really sad and said, "Don't say Duh to me

dadda that's not nice!" It was so sad but he's so smart, because he knows what it means and we thought he just said it for fun. Then today he says, "Just don't tell me what to do mommy ok?"

and now when we go to my mom's he calls me Candice because he hears everyone else do it. It's so hilarous. Definitely a ham!

Spring Break Newport Beach

 We headed to Newport on Saturday for a much awaited

and needed Spring Break, unfortunately Kellan woke up with a runny

nose and my mom instinct knew it was going to turn into a disaster and it did. He literally does not leave our house during the week and I purposely kept him away from human contact for almost a month before even church but of course he got sick. So this is two for two : Christmas Break

and Spring Break, so it better be it! Last summer we were also sick on our vacation to Idaho, so

like my friend says, I have the worst luck ever sometimes! 

 these are the happy moments on the first day we got there!

 Laith came to hang out with his cousins for two nights and 

I guess Kyse was really sad about it. He was feeling left out.

Kellan sure enjoyed Laith's attention. He was absolutely adorable with him.

We went to dinner for my bday and went and got icecream..

 seriously?

 by this point Kellan was not too happy

so lots of crying and when we got home I was looking 

through the pictures and he kept impersonating his crying

with the face and everything, it was sooo funny!

 We decided to rent this little contraption, it was sooo fun!

Kellan loved just relaxing and hanging out and so did Mia, 

she wanted to take it back to Vegas with us, more pics 

below, but it was soo much work, at one point, Rick said oh jus stop peddling and

relax and then he's like ummm nevermind haha I said, ya I am working over here too :) 

 Mia has an arm I promise, my kids are seriously

albino like Rick so they fry on the first day no matter what, it's sooo frustrating.

 mid week, it was pretty much crying a lot and I felt so bad for him,

at least he won't remember any of it. I'm just sad he missed out on having fun

 my prego sis Bre- 6 months already came with Wally and the boys,

we had tons of fun at the beach and went back to the pool, swam and had cupcakes for

Laith's bday.

 we ended up coming home early, Kellan did not 

sleep most of the week and his caugh was getting bad so we wanted to come

home and go to the doc, but Rick rented this bike the last day on Newport beach 

and he jus had a blast with his dad going all over the place. BEST MEDICINE EVER :) 

We still had fun, at least we weren't in Vegas and were 

lucky enough to be in Cali for Spring Break with my mom and dad and

see some cousins too. Now 8 weeks and 4 days til School is out and yes I'm counting.
