Busy

 It's been awhile since I've posted because I'm consumed with work

and then I come home and want to spend every second with Kellan and the weekend is 

filled with the grocery store and errands and Sunday is taken over with church, soooo my time is very limited.

But... here is this cutie. He is crawling EVERYWHERE, into EVERYTHING, talking saying Uh oh, dadda

mama copying whatever Mia says and following the cat all over the house which he does not appreciate.

 He is very proud of himself that he can crawl

 He hates sitting now so he just stands up to everything and when 

he gets tired, he stands there and cries because he refuses to sit down.

 this is the look I kept getting when my camera would flash the blinded look...

 the amount of food this kid gets on him, in his diaper, on the floor,

and in his lap is crazy. Mia was never like this , she would cry if she got anything on her

shirt or her fingers. She still cries if Kellan touches her and has anything on him. She's so funny.

 Mia absolutely loves school. Her teacher loves her too and gets emotional talking about her 

which makes me so happy. She will say you have no idea how amazing she is, you guys did so good, thank you so much. She also got announced on our school tv for getting a superstar award for being kind to a girl

in her class who cries a lot. When I asked her why she's so nice to her, she says because I want to help my teacher and if it helps her to not have to worry about this little girl, it makes me feel good. I loved that! 

 few days with cousins!!!! Mia got an extra little treat and got to

spend time with her cute boy cousins who she loves. It was short but sweet!!

 I walked out to the sandbox and she said, "Mom can we have our time please?"

Haha I can take a hint... So I let them be..

So there's a little boy Caden in Mia's class who she just adores

in fact she told me she is marrying him. ( she tells us she's marrying her cousin in the pic above and our cat too) well anyway she said that he likes cars and animals just like her and he's super cute and funny, and he's so smart like me haha so I say, okay with a confused look on my face and she says what you don't like him mom? ( haha like she's in high school and saying what you don't want me to be happy) I said Mia I haven't even met the kid before!! I was laughing so hard. So then she says well Kira told me to show him my ballet moves so I did and he said Wow and almost fell over. OMG , girls!!! It gets better, so then the next morning she says Mom Kira wants to marry him too, we both can't marry him!! I said no and she said, well Kira is just going to have to find someone else. Wow this could get interesting, Rick said he is not ready for this!! 

Kindergarten! Kellan is 8 months!

 I can't believe Mia is in kindergarten. She has been such

a little old soul her whole life, I don't get sad about it, it 

just amazes me how smart and independent she has become and 

she gets to go with me to school which she is BEYOND excited about!

Her first day went great, other than their lunch isn't until almost 1pm! Absolutely 

crazy and they apparently took snacks out of the day. I made sure I spoke my mind about 

it but we still aren't doing snacks just on Fridays. I have a lot to say about making 5 year olds

starve but I will move on. And we wonder why kids are obese? So she was having stomach aches the first week due to overeating at lunch cause she was so hungry but hoping it gets better.

 She wasn't sure about laying on the street, she so crazy about 

cleanliness always has been but she smiled through :) And she still wants

to be a vet when she grows up which is what I wanted to be besides a teacher..

 and here is chunky getting in the pics.. this kid WILL NOT sit down,

he can totally crawl but would rather try and walk and he's standing up to everything

we don't know what we are going to do about him!

 Mia nicknamed him Haungi which cracks me up. She also

got very emotional and asked if he was going to loose his cute nose and cute

face when he grows up. It was so sad, she was crying and couldn't stop because she 

just doesn't want him to get bigger. :)

 First day of School!!

 so two of my best friends that I work with have daughters who are 

both in kindergarten so how fun is that? They all 3 get to be in the same

class all day and we get to visit them for lunch every day too. I LOVE it!!

 Rick was not about to miss her important day so he crutched in and 

my mom was nice enough to take care of Kellan for the last few weeks too.

It's been stressful to say the least.

 And here is my cute 8 month old! No he is NOT sleeping

through the night and Rick says it's a good thing he's so cute because we have 

just about had it. Don't think we go running in there every second, this kid starts to hyperventalate

and practically throw up when you just "leave him" I've never seen or heard anything like it and to

top it off he is a whopping 23 1/2 lbs! YUP! Mia was 22 lbs at 8 mo but still!

 and he's got 2 little teeth on the bottom and one coming in on the top!

I just have to show the amount of cheeks this kid is carrying around

my sister Brooke will appreciate this one, oh man!!!

 he steals my heart though.. boys they are sure

attached to their moms!! NOT ready for that, it's so different 

from girls.

 back to Mia , I've been waiting for this shirt to

get in the mail. My friend gave me this idea to take a picture every

year from kinder to senior to see how big she gets in an adult shirt so 

I'm trying it! My sis Nicole is too for Hailey. I just love the idea!

 these were taken after school and let me tell you: full day kinder is 

hard for them, she immediately gets in her pjs and wants to chill so she was not going to let me take

her pjs off underneath or brush her hair for the pics :)

 A few things Mia has said lately that I need to write down: first of all she thinks

her cousin Scott is "MY Scott" and she told me she cries for him at night :( She also 

is constantly saying , "Scott would just be so proud of me for this or that, it's really cute.

He's truly the big brother she doesn't have and I'm so grateful for his sweet spirit because he's one in a million.

Then the other day she asked what was going to happen when Spock died, and I said, why are you worrying about that? She said because mom sometimes I just worry about things I'm not suppose to worry about. well that's the truth!

Then I could tell she wasn't telling me something the other day and she said "MOM I am not the story you think I am , I am not the boy who cried wolf!" I was dying laughing

She also has a girl who whines in her class and she said, LOVELY huh mom... 

She is also obsessed with going to college even though she's 5 and I think it's because all of her babysitters have gone to college after watching her so she told me that Kira at school was going to be her roommate at college and that she would be bringing 3 cars so Kira doesn't need to worry about having a car.

She is so funny and just too smart for her own good, and such a big sister, it took awhile, but she finally likes Kellan and I say that in all honesty because I was a little worried there for awhile but not anymore, she just adores him!
