September Happenings...

Mia before soccer! We put her in a skill based soccer program
through November and she's really loving it. They do scrimmages later
on, but they mostly focus on soccer skills at the beginning so they get prepared
to play on a team the next year!

 Such a ham!

Rick's 32nd Birthday! Mia helping him blow out his
yummy icecream cake! We celebrated on Friday night instead of Saturday
and then Rick and I went on a date Saturday night for his
birthday. Friday night, we went to dinner with Grandma
and Grandpa B and came home and had cake and icecream.

Mia helping him with his presents...
 Eating yummy cake
handsome birthday boy!! He told me that he didn't get a single
phone call on his birthday, only text messages. Texting
really is getting out of hand. Just saying....

Mia looked extra cute today for church,
so I took some pictures and of course she posed
for me... She's so funny. Someone told a joke while
speaking in sacrament and everyone laughed. Mia started
laughing and said, "Mom I didn't know you could laugh at church." haha

I am 23 weeks this week and I will post pics soon I promise,
but Mia wants to tell everyone I'm pregnant. The other day she said,
"Mom why don't you want to tell her you are pregnant? Are you embarassed that
you are pregnant, because my little brother wants everyone to know he's coming."
Too cute!

This kid has been so funny lately that I had to put it in my blog.
For those of you that don't know, you can do a blog to print every
year of your blog and it's honestly an investment for your child's
memories and even better than scrapbooking. They cost about $70 per year
depending on how much you write, but I just ordered her 4th journal and they are
safely put away for when she gets married. :)
Anyway, the other day she told me
that "She can't wait to grow up and be a mom so she can tell me what to do." Haha when I told
my mom that, she said yes and they do tell you what to do when they grow up. Too cute.
Then she told me that she's pretty sure that she's going to marry her brother when she grows
up and she asked if I thought he would like that. I said I'm sure he would and she said, well I hope he knows how to do the dip! ( bend her backwards when dancing hahahaha) I was cracking up!

Then she told me, "Mom I just want you to know that I'm probably not going to live with you
when I grow up and I don't want you to get upset about it. ( the same kid that is already planning which college she's going to)

Then her preschool teacher told Rick that she has designated herself as a playground duty helper.
But, there's no such thing as that job, she just appointed herself and stands next to the teachers and tells them who is being naughty. OOOHH boy. When I asked her about her job on the playground, she got mad and said, mom it's called playground duty and it's a very serious job. haha :). Do you think she's a teacher's kid? Scary! She also
gives hours of homework when she gets home. She is so into learning, we love it.

Bird Santuary and Car Show

Mia has a new sitter and she is loving her.
They built this really cute garbage truck and
you can't see inside, but there are even gas pedals.
It's very cool!

We have an exotic bird santuary down the road that
we have never even been to. Since Mia loves all animals big
or small, she had a blast
There was the cutest bird that kept saying, "What's the matter?"
We even got to pet a few that weren't testy
Aren't they beautiful? Since most birds live longer
than their owners, they have to be brought here.

They had some aggressive ducks too.
 And a minihorse
 chicks and chickens
even a white bird that looked like the mean one on Rio
This weekend Rick and Grandpa B went to a car show
with Mia at Bass Pro Shops. She told me she just had to
wear her Lightning McQueen shirt to the show ( the one that
I bought telling her that it's not allowed to leave the house haha)

Of course she wanted to see all the engines and had their make
and models memorized by the end of the day

Did you think this was a real dog? I did...

Even had corn on the cob for lunch. Fun day with the guys!!!
