Isn't it funny how once you have kids, you really don't have
your own birthday anymore? Your kids pretty much take over
everyone's in the house... Mia even pointed to each one of Rick's
presents last week and said what they were , these are pants, this
is a hat, etc. Apparently I need to hide Christmas gifts better this year.
 They help blow out candles...
 They try on your presents
 open your presents...
attempt at a family pic but Mia is more concerned with putting
her finger in Rick's cake (her cake really)

She just kept saying, Happy birthday dad!!!! I'm so excited
it's your birthday, you are 2 years old!!
Eating the cake- that she thinks is hers...
Happy Birthday Babe- 30 years old!!! So glad you
are finally in your 30's like me. Ha Ha!! I planned a surprise dinner
party Saturday night with FRIENDS only, no family cause I wanted
it to be all about him and everyone came, 19 total from work and even
his high school friends, it was great! The only thing was that he spotted a few
vehicles in the parking lot before we walked in but other than that, I was proud of
myself for hiding it that long :)
Mia just out of the tub
Night before Rick's surprise birthday dinner: getting his
hair brushed by Mia. She now calls him daddy horse!
We went to a car show in Henderson and Mia's favorite
was this pink jeep
And the french fries with ketchup
Out of all the cool cars, she picks the golf cart because it's
just her size she says...
This is for you Nicole- Mia is now officially at the stage
of making the cheese face for pictures
After church, bonding time with Spock
He's obsessed with her bed- so my mom and dad are back
from being in Idaho for almost 4 weeks, so I got home from work
yesterday and Mia says to me, I'm going to grandma's and you can't come
Okay how are you going to get there, she says, oh Mo can take me (her sitter)
I said, she's already gone and she said well I can go get a little car to drive there like
my little jeep. I finally convinced her to LET me drive her to my mom's. We pulled up
and I said, " Can I at least take you to the door." Sure mom but then you just
need to drop me off. So we get to the door, my mom answers and she says, bye mom
come back and pick me up we are going to make cookies and you can't come. Then she turned
around and said, " Have a nice day!" It was hilarious, this coming from the child who FREAKS if
I go to the bathroom without her, but she was ready for my mom to be home :)

Morgan- Mia's new sitter bought Mia a Centennial
Bulldogs shirt and we went to the football game last Sat.
night. She loves Morgan- calls her Mo, and she loves
that she doesn't have to leave her house every day when
we go to work, she even gets to go play with Lilly and Nicholas
one day a week. It's perfect. Mia has been cracking me up lately.
I was changing in my closet naked and she came up behind me, started
patting my butt and said, "Oh Mom, you have such a cute little bum!"
It was precious. Last night I tried to get her to wear pull ups to bed
instead of her diaper ( she's only in panties during the day) and she said they
were TOO pink ( they were princess ones) and then she took my face in
her hands and said, "It's okay mom don't be sad that I don't want to wear pull ups,
I will just keep practicing in my diaper." She also named all the octogons she saw
yesterday, yes octogons. She is just too smart for her own good, very bossy too!!
We love to go over to the neighbors and feed their horses
apples and carrots. They love Mia so much that they literally
run to her even from far away ( they love the apples/carrots too)
She is such an animal lover- I am too, so it's funny to see how alike
we are. She's also an Aries (Me too) and I feel bad for Rick sometimes
cause in the morning one minute she will want to cuddle with him and then
the next minute she'll say, "Just don't speak to me dad, just don't speak to me!"
She is DRAMA!! Aries are very much Rams so I just tell Rick it's like he has 2 of me around:)
Ummm did I say drama? Look at this cheese!

She isn't afraid of them at all
She just puts the apple right in their mouth even with those
big teeth. I LOVE horses ( maybe one day grandma/grandpa B
will have one )
I can't even express the fun I have with Mia. She is just
my little best friend. I loved spending the summer with just
her and me hanging out. Even though I can't even pee without
her saying, "mom watcha doing? and the fact that I've made 5 batches of
chocolate chip cookies this week because she wants to help cook, I love this
little cutie !

Mia has now become her own one man band. It is hilarious.

Being creative is very exhausting :)
It feels like Chucky Cheese is our second home lately
Mia is so creative, she came up with this train of Gabba toys
and even found a "conductor" hat she told me.
I can't even explain the love between Mia and her cat.
He's her VERY best friend, along with a few others :)
Since this is like her journal and I print it out, I have to write this,
she even makes me go and get Spock when she goes #2 in the potty,
I have to physically pick him up so that he sees what she did and then she
yells, "look Spock are you so proud of me, I such a big girl." So cute.
Here is his favorite place, in the dryer with new warm clean clothes.
